Message I got a message from someone who saw my post here and claimed to be from Boise. This person supposedly got the flyer on his/her car and actually went to the pub. He/she claims to have a business card (given out by the bartender) with Maurice's info.
I tried to encourage this person to share the info here so those not from Boise could play along. Hopefully that will happen.
BTW, the person did not share the business card info with me, so I obviously can't pass it along.

Martha's boarding house has an entry point with a bit of a storyline.
Being a sort of newbie- does this make it something more than Boise local?
Does this possibly mean we are missing something at the Pub site? Has anyone tried the email?

Little update in the message of Mar54 in Martin Heidegger Forum
Original message:
Nice job following the last clues.
I have heard the Inventor say, "He reached for meaning through poetics" when asked about Heidegger. He also has used Heidegger as inspiration for some of his Experience. I know the Inventor often visits Tablerock Brew Pub in Boise. Maybe, he has left a clue with the bartender. When you visit Table Rock, skip the hostess and go directly to the bartender and ask for Maurice.
Little update:
Do not call Tablerock. The information will be given in person by the bartender.
PS: I've sent a mail at the pub address, in search of bartender and Maurice. But i think is a big trout

You know, I've been cyberally sitting at this bar now for over three days waiting for Maurice to show up cyberally drinking Crown Royal and ginger ale and doing shots of Tequila with a beer chaser at let me tell you all this....
I am TOTALLY Cyberally Shitfaced....
Where the hell is Maurice? I find it odd that Experience It went live and generated interest and all and had people eating out of their hand to put the brakes on like this...doesn't make sense...
Anybody have any idea out there what's going on? I'm going back to the Surfer site and that scientist site and see if old Mikey has posted us a crumb or two....

Experience It: I have found out that the ExpeienceIt online search for the inventor is a local area activity. So you actually have to go to certain locations and call a few phone numbers to participate. I have been asked by the organizers not to post this local information.
I have been asked by the Unforum to stop posting so this might be my last post or this message may get deleted.
sorry

well now i'm just intrigued. I want to hear how the hunt progresses! So maybe we can't play from afar, but can we still watch? Please don't simply disappear. You are welcome to return at a later time to tell us whether or not the campaign was a success. Please?
And could the person representing Unforum please explain why this person was asked to stop posting? Even a local hunt could be of interest, as long as it is fully explained as being for locals only.

As a matter of fact, I merely asked him which one of his two accounts here he wished to keep. He denied having anything to do with the Bioboy account.
This is true. The leak was unauthorized and should never have been made to the wider internet audience. Please see the following post.

Update: The skinny. ExperienceIt is a local event for Boise-area residents only . It is a family-oriented activity geared towards the local community, in support of and with the cooperation of local businesses and non-profit organizations. This is a student-developed project which involves some internet sites along with real-world clues but you must be in Boise to receive them . If you live in Boise, feel free to follow along but the rest of us should leave this one alone for now.
The organizers of this event have extended a public apology to anyone who may have been led astray by the original post to this thread and subsequent events in response. After the local event is over, we may receive some scans and photos of the real-world clues so that those of us who are interested can play along after the fact.
Please do not attempt to contact the organizers, puppetmasters, or referenced businesses any further. We'll have more information in a couple of weeks.

Maurice's post (second in the thread) says that the Inventor has an account at web-message.com and gives a list of possible passwords, which the Inventor apparently rotates through every few weeks.
Heading to the web-message site and using the login-name of "inventor" (since it was italicized in Maurice's post), through trial and error I found that the following works:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The current password is redondo .
Web-message.com is a voice messaging site. There is a message in the main inbox once you login from Mike54, which gives you the next clue:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look for a message titled "heiroglyphs." Head over to the saved messages category and you'll find this message left by sectiononeSPLAT netagent.net (who appears to be the same person as Mike54, judging by the voice). The second message says: "Interesting how the Egyptians used heiroglyphs to communicate. Maybe you should check into the Gregory Bateson organization." Gregory Bateson is a real person, but I don't think gregorybateson.org is really his site.
This is as far as I've gotten before running out of free time.

End of Trail...I'll put it in a spoiler so anyone who wants to do it can. In the News Bulletin section of gregorybateson.org
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Boise, Idaho: Anthropology group finds mysterious symbols
Local anthropology group finds mysterious symbols on old parchment. The symbols are on display at 210 Main Street, Boise. Maybe our code breaker link will help to decode the ancient symbols. 12-3-2002 Click here to see a reproduction of parchment:PHOTO
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The picture of cuneiform numbers gives us 4400728.
With the Boise area code of 208, you get a phone number of 208-440-0728.A message states "You have reached 440-0728 and have successfully completed Experience It , you may not leave a message ." It goes on to give a little history of the game.
