Well here is my response to his email (my frikkin' email thing doesn't support text formatting - I had a whole message spelled out in italics and bold face type!!!!!):
Quote:
Dear Mr. Blankenburg,
Thank you so much for your kind welcome and your thoughtful follow up. I think I have found everything, however, it is difficult to get responses.
For instance, I am very eager to read the town newspapers but am finding it extremely difficult to make out the words on the website. I have emailed both Jan Levinson and Mike Grabel requesting information concerning a subscription or a PDF file with legible type. We elders sometimes have difficulties making out tiny type, you know! Mr. Grabel kindly responded that he was currently out on assignment.
It seems my eyes have been playing tricks any way as it looks for all the world as though the picture of the nice lady in the newspaper article is backwards! Yet another reason to request an easier-to-read copy.
I have spent some time exploring the community. I did manage to access the TH chat room and had a nice visit with other residents. I found the research to be progressing nicely and am enjoying my efforts to incorporate into the community after taking a good, deep look at the website.
I am a bit concerned for that busy little bee, Mrs. Kravitz. The poor dear should pay some attention to maintaining her health and well being amidst all her enjoyment of life. One never knows when or where a germ might attack!
I did hear the information about poor Mr. Ridge. It is so terrible our good Net-Guard was not in place at the time as I am sure it would have wrapped Mr. Ridge right up and saved him from harm.
Thank you, again, for the opportunity to become a part of this wonderful community.
Pam
Hope it's presentable.
Just got the response:

Thank you for that very detailed account of your progress, however I
would like a little more detail as to your specific progress with
THmain.
Thank you

Guess my message didn't get through, or we DO still have something to find.

I recognize most of the names on there as new residents. It's just a nod of thanks in our direction for donating, I believe.

I was just playing around with the Q&A part of the DevCorp site. The thing is pretty dumb - it doesn't understand anything. However, I noticed one thing.
You know how when you ask it a question it prints your question above its' answer?
I accidentally typed \ in the question part. When it told me it didn't know in noticed the Q. printing was \\.
So I tried \\ (2) and got back \\\\ (4)
\\\ (3) gave back \\\\\ (5)
\\\\ (4) gave \\\\\\\ (7)
\\\\\ (5) gave \\\\\\\\ ( 8 ) Sorry for the extra spaces, closing the parenthesis around the 8 gave me a smilie.
\\\\\\ (6) gave \\\\\\\\\\\\ (12)
\\\\\\\ (7) gave \\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (14)
I don't know if I've actually discovered something, or have just stumbled into an odd chat/html/computerlanguageweirdness thing.

Some of the responses also have odd punctuation following. For example, many answers end with '<
See the ones that do here:

"B-cubed is amazing. I cannot believe this guy has been bumping around the studios for the last 15 years. As an entertainer he is first rate and the support of the band is amazing. I love these guys!"

"Wow, this group is the next Beatles, Bon Jovi, and Boston all in one. The show is great and I cannot believe they can keep up the energy through the whole thing. I am already planning on seeing these guys again."

"This latest album is amazing. Every song comes from somewhere or something deep inside of Bill. The energy is sometimes overwhelming, but it is like a rush. If you see these guys live, bring a nice handle to hold on to, because it is a crazy ride."

"I cannot even think of a favorite cut off the last album. I think B-cubed is the hottest band right now. I have listened to their songs a thousand times and cannot get enough. I will be sure to get tickets to their tour, I am totally going to get a shirt and get it signed by the band! "

Maybe one of these peeps is an employee.
*Edit to add more SPEC.
In the Establishment Lounge, Jay Blankenburg logged in with the username "jb1968." Maybe other logins will be in that format, initials then birthdate?

RE: [SPEC/TRIVIA] BBB LYRICS Finally sat and listened to the songs myself, I figured out some of the missing lyrics for song 3:

Have a nice trip, thank you; [Sounds like there's something here, Gene Wilder is what I keep hearing, but it's most definitely a name... BB] (thanks to neomanicxz for the above)
Outside of reason
Then away
Outside the pain
Is tucked away
Inside the rumors
\Twisted by\
Inside the walls
Sometimes those \close inside\
Funny part is all of those stops except Area51 are towns in New Mexico.. Area51 however is in Nevada.
A buddy of mine thinks that it may be Jean Marlow as the name rather than Gene Wilder, there's definitely a G/J, and M sound with a W at the end?
I'm trying to go over the others and solidify the other lyrics, but most look correct to me now..
Quote:
Two Days in May
[There's a girl out there]
With a [heart] as big as [they make]
A smile that'll make ya think
But nothing else will more
Well she lost the key
To her lonely heart
Doesn't really know where to start
So she sits there waiting
[Reads] about love
Got through song four.. Nothing really interesting with this one..
