Re: [EMAIL] Significance of Number Wow... a girl with a birthday that is an exact number anagram of the birthday of Erwin Schroedinger, which just so happens to be the name of her cat?
Chalk another one up on the "coincidence" board guys!

Well now we know that 180287 is in referance to Eva, that would make Eva 'Subject 180287'
Subject of what though? Alien abduction? Goverment experimentation? Spooky.
Just food for thought.

Don't know what to make of the code on that site, but the moving bits act rather like a swimming bacterium. The white circles have different sizes and different lengths between them, and if you hit refresh you get a new "bacterium." OTOH if they weren't moving, I'd think they looked more like molecules. But they also seem mostly linear, i.e. long chains without a lot of branching, which doesn't quite go with what I remember from chem class (not much).

Deception sites online... Digital scarring... Hm. Think it's referring to us? Or to people (like this Keir fellow, perhaps) who have different motives than the people at Subject180287?
Or perhaps it means that Subject180287 is setting up deception sites--so perhaps they created the Keir site. Hm...

If you click anywhere on the page, you can make a new node. It doesn't seem to serve any real purpose other than looking cool.

Ah so. It didn't do that on my work computer. Dangit, I thought we had something there.

This made me think of Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle", although I can't find any reference to him living in a place called "Springs".
Guys, mapquest says that there are two cities called Springs in the states. One of them in in New York and has a wikipedia entry...Vonnegut is mentioned...

Based on reading that, where Eva refers to Joseph, it could be Joseph Heller, as cited in Kurt Vonnegut's Wikipedia Entry

And if you save the HTML from http://www.subject180287.net/ (along with the ChronoLisa.class file), change "param name=allowhyperlink value=false" to "param name=allowhyperlink value=true", and run it locally and click on the clock, it takes you to http://www.krotek.com/

Yup, it does. The alt. says connection declined though, which might be some sort of hint at something later on.
http://www.subject180287.net/connectionDenied.gif is the image visible on the page. http://www.subject180287.net/connectionDeclined.gif also exists, for no apparent reason.
