[Blog] Sebastian Crane

nyerknasahbess

backwards equals Sebastian Crane...

http://sebastiancrane.blogspot.com/

The newest post along with an image of 2 ravens reads:

Quote:
A silent whisper
unto a broken heart
like a record playing in reverse
reminding me of what I lost
Following suit they hunt
like wolves starved for many days
one of them a traitor
speaks softly to those who follow
Two birds whispering
in quiet conversation
"Suffer, you all shall"
and then the darkness comes.

The earlier one today was from Ovid: Metamorphoses

Council of the gods

Quote:
Disguis'd in humane shape, I travell'd round
The world, and more than what I heard, I found.
O'er Maenalus I took my steepy way,
By caverns infamous for beasts of prey:

Then cross'd Cyllene, and the piny shade
More infamous, by curst Lycaon made:
Dark night had cover'd Heaven, and Earth, before
I enter'd his unhospitable door.

His mantle, now his hide, with rugged hairs
Cleaves to his back; a famish'd face he bears;
His arms descend, his shoulders sink away
To multiply his legs for chase of prey.

He grows a wolf, his hoariness remains,
And the same rage in other members reigns.
His eyes still sparkle in a narr'wer space:
His jaws retain the grin, and violence of his face

This was a single ruin, but not one
Deserves so just a punishment alone.
Mankind's a monster, and th' ungodly times
Confed'rate into guilt, are sworn to crimes.

All are alike involv'd in ill, and all
Must by the same relentless fury fall.
Thus ended he; the greater Gods assent;
By clamours urging his severe intent;
The less fill up the cry for punishment.

Yet still with pity they remember Man;
And mourn as much as heav'nly spirits can.
They ask, when those were lost of humane birth,
What he wou'd do with all this waste of Earth:

If his dispeopl'd world he would resign
To beasts, a mute, and more ignoble line;
Neglected altars must no longer smoke,
If none were left to worship, and invoke.

New post

Quote:
winter in the city.
Thursday

Frozen flakes fall silently from the sky
People walking
People talking
Traffic passing by
but I can't hear anything anymore.

The cold wind burns my skin, I left my coat at home
They bump into me
I wish they knew me
I feel so alone
And I can't see anything anymore.

A car slides uncontrollably upon the icy street
God forsaken
My life is taken
No longer on my feet
I can't feel anything anymore.

sorry MG, Saturday was the day it was posted. I should have made that clear in my post.

If you go to his blog you will see that the contact info is the same as the background. therefore, you have to highlight it to see it.

http://sebastiancrane.blogspot.com/

It's odd that he doesn't respond, though.

[new post] Time

Quote:
time.

Hours slowly passing as I wait
Waiting for time to show me something
Something may never come to free me from this cold
Cold becomes the house I'm trapped inside
Inside the fireplace burn the final embers of what I was
I was once full of life but now I've become silent
Silence fuels the cold and fills the room

Today's chat with Sebastian.

Quote:
[14:48] tipsila 1: hello
[14:49] tipsila 1: I've been worried about you
[14:50] sebastiancrane30: I have been thoroughly searching my attic for whatever documents I can find with no such luck, I'm afraid.
[14:50] tipsila 1: oh, hmmm
[14:50] tipsila 1: do you think your visitors went in the attic?
[14:51] sebastiancrane30: It is possible. They came by again today, while I was in the shower, but I had the doors locked and dead-bolted. They didn't break in, thank God.
[14:51] tipsila 1: uh oh
[14:51] sebastiancrane30: What is it?
[14:52] tipsila 1: how do you know they came by while you were in the shower?
[14:52] sebastiancrane30: They left me a note. Scrawled on a post it note.
[14:52] tipsila 1: oh. what does it say?
[14:54] sebastiancrane30: First off, its kind of lame that the "FBI" can't afford business cards. It says: "Mr. Crane, we are doing another routine check for your saftey and shall return later. - J. Arthur Hugin"
[14:54] tipsila 1: J Arthur Hugin
[14:55] tipsila 1: Hmmm. I wonder who that is?
[14:55] tipsila 1: well, seeing as they came back, they must not have found what they wanted the first time.
[14:55] sebastiancrane30: I would have to agree.
[14:56] tipsila 1: so, you found nothing interesting in your Great grandmother's things?
[14:56] sebastiancrane30: Actually, I haven't found any of her things. I started searching at 8:30 this morning.
[14:57] tipsila 1: oh! Perhaps they were moved?
[14:57] sebastiancrane30: Either that or... I must confess, I am a bit of a pack rat. There is much to be sorted up there.
[14:57] tipsila 1: hehe, i collect things, too Wink
[14:58] sebastiancrane30: Smile
[14:59] tipsila 1: but family documents are very important to keep. I am a genealogist, so I have lots of old papers.
[15:00] sebastiancrane30: Geneaology is a wonderful feild, for those skilled in research. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people.
[15:01] tipsila 1: i love it.
[15:01] tipsila 1: what happened to your text?
[15:02] sebastiancrane30: I'm sorry, I had to change it a bit. My eyes are not what they used to be.
[15:02] tipsila 1: oh, that's fine. My eyes aren't what they used to be, either.

Quote:
Hugin and Munin, are a pair of ravens associated with the Norse god Odin. Hugin and Munin travel the world bearing news and information to Odin. Hugin is "thought" and Munin is "memory". They are sent out at dawn to gather information and return in the evening. They perch on the god's shoulders and whisper the news into his ears. It is from these ravens that the kenning 'raven-god' for Odin is derived.

The name Munin has its roots in the Old Norse word for memory.

There is something called a Raven Banner, flown by various viking chieftains and other Scandinavian rulers during the ninth, tenth and eleventh centuries CE. The flag, as depicted in Norse artwork, was roughly triangular, with a rounded outside edge on which there hung a series of tabs or tassels.

Scholars conjecture that the raven flag was a symbol of Odin, who was often depicted accompanied by two ravens.

The image reminded me of the bird on the seal that was stamped on the WWI photo here

Sebastian was attacked by TSOL. They marked him with a triangle made of ink & blood. It also made him very sick. MountianGirl & I were both chatting with him and using the healing spells, but they weren't working. Fortunately, Sladius signed on to yahoo and told us that Sebastain had to use a sharp object to cut across the mark and say the spell, this worked. Someone also entered Sebastian's house & Sebastain stabbed him with a letter opener. We told him to use the spell on the body & it burst into flames & quickly became ash. Sebastian then spread & consecrated the fire cactus across his doorways & Sladius told us to instruct him to drink LOTS of water, as the mark & the healing had dehydrated him. This was done. Sebastian is going to continue looking for the page and get back to us tomorrow. the logs of both conversations are attached in one attachment.

Just had a wee chat with Sebastian. He said he will help all he can to find the page. I think I have narrowed down the Chapel and Cemetery where his great grandmother woked. There are 2 of them with the same name and quite close together.

Quote:
[17:57] tipsila 1: hello
[17:58] sebastiancrane30: Hello.
[17:58] tipsila 1: How are you feeling?
[17:59] sebastiancrane30: I feel pretty good... however, I have been searching thoroughly for that paper with no such luck.
[17:59] tipsila 1: well, Father Enoch thinks you don't have it
[18:00] tipsila 1: he thinks that you may be able to help us find it though
[18:00] sebastiancrane30: How? Where would I begin?
[18:00] tipsila 1: just your thoughts
[18:00] tipsila 1: you know on your site, you wrote a poem about a car hitting someone
[18:01] sebastiancrane30: It was a dream, yes.
[18:01] tipsila 1: well, that actually happened to the man we got the previous page from
[18:01] tipsila 1: so, like I said, you are prophetic
[18:01] tipsila 1: so, perhaps your dreams will help guide us
[18:02] sebastiancrane30: Yes, this may be true, but unfortunately I can't
control my dreams.
[18:02] tipsila 1: no, but still you may be able to help -- that is if you are
willing to do so
[18:02] sebastiancrane30: Of course, I will do what I can.
[18:03] tipsila 1: have you had any dreams about a dog?
[18:04] tipsila 1: specifically a dog digging in the ground?
[18:05] sebastiancrane30: I vaguely remember a black dog, but thats about all.
[18:05] tipsila 1: oh, when was this? can you remember?
[18:07] tipsila 1: You know, I want you to be careful, as even though you don't have the page that the Sons of Loki seek, they still wish you harm
[18:10] sebastiancrane30: I remember a dog under a porch. I do remember seeing some of the wood a bit worn down, as if it had been torn up.
[18:10] tipsila 1: that is what Richie said his dog was doing!
[18:10] tipsila 1: almost exactly
[18:11] tipsila 1: I wonder what your great grandmother did with that page... i bet she hid it somewhere
[18:12] sebastiancrane30: If she had knowledge of the loki people's intentions, I would bet she would want it well hidden.
[18:12] tipsila 1: did she ever live in Brooklyn?
[18:13] sebastiancrane30: Yes, she did. She worked at a chapel, with a very old cemetery from what I remember my father telling me.
[18:13] tipsila 1: I wonder if she lived in the house Richie lives in now?
[18:17] sebastiancrane30: Its alright... Greenwood I think was the name of the cemetery. In fact I'm very sure that is what it was.
[18:18] tipsila 1: maybe I can find some information to help, but right now, it appears that the page may be in Richie's back yard
[18:19] sebastiancrane30: Do you by chance know where it is? The house I mean.
[18:19] tipsila 1: no, I do not
[18:19] tipsila 1: but i think i found the cemetery...
[18:21] tipsila 1: but I don't see how that will help us
[18:21] sebastiancrane30: Well, if it is near there, do you know of any other landmarks he may have mentioned?
[18:22] tipsila 1: no, I have never talked with him too much. Some of the
others helping have.. maybe they can find out.
[18:22] sebastiancrane30: Looks like I'll have to drink some hot sauce before bed tonight.
[18:22] tipsila 1: why's that?
[18:23] sebastiancrane30: For some reason it makes my dreams more vivid.
[18:23] tipsila 1: hehe. I like hot stuff
[18:23] sebastiancrane30: So do I.
[18:30] tipsila 1: I can see you're busy now, so I will let you go. Please
remember the spells and keep your eyes and ears open for danger -- I worry about you as the SoL are still trying to hurt you.
[18:32] sebastiancrane30: I used the aloe again today, consecrated. I will do it daily until the page is found. And thank you for your help.
[18:32] tipsila 1: you are most welcome
[18:33] sebastiancrane30: Talk to soon.
[18:33] tipsila 1: bye

Edited to add:
