 [INFO] [REF] David's Circle Theory
http://www.timehole.co.uk/Circletheory.html

I created this thread to archive and for quick reference of Dave's and Pat's discussions on Circle Theory. http://www.timehole.co.uk/Circletheory.html

Dave lives alone in Somerset in England and lost his hair when he rescued his grandmother, Margaret, from an electromagnetic force field surrounding her care home in the late 1970s. He is extremely intelligent and caring and enjoys wearing hats from around the world. He spends much of his time quietly observing and taking notes on the seemingly banal which he strongly believes holds clues to the paranormal.

Time Hole wrote:
Crop circles are a less talked about phenomena which many link to UFOs. They are linked to UFOs because many people believe that it is visitors from outer space who make the circles and patterns in the crops as a form of communication. In our continuing quest for the truth we have come across a number of 'bizarre crops' in Somerset and the surrounding area. Once Pat even found a carrot with the face of Shaun Ryder, Alas that is another story. Whether a message from aliens or a distraction planned by the M.O.D. We at Timehole are convinced that crop circles are an integral part of the ongoing Somerset cover up.

However there will always be sceptics. They say that it is just a form of mad graffiti or a way of getting attention for the people who go out at night in the darkness and make near perfect geometrical patterns by laying down the crops. Some of the simple circles could be done quite easily, ladders can be used to get from the edge of the field to the canvas without leaving a trail and then large circular stencils or giant geometry equipment could be used to make the patterns. This would not apply to the huge and amazingly complex patterns however. How is it possible to make such intricate patterns in the dead of night without anyone noticing. Whatever or whoever makes these crop circles are exceptional beings and I would love to watch them doing performing their art so I could know for sure what they are.

The first reported crop circle was in 1678 in Hertfordshire, UK, there have been over 5000 reported cases since. The following is an inscription regarding the 1678 crop circle, made August 22nd 1678.

The inscription reads:Being a true relation of a farmer, who bargaining with a poor mower, about the cutting down three half acres of oats: upon the mower's asking too much, the farmer swore that the Devil should mow it rather than he. And so it fell out, that very night, the crop of oat shew'd as if it had been all of a flame: but next morning appear'd so neatly mow'd by the Devil or some infernal spirit, that no mortal man was able to do the like. Also, how the said oats ly now in the field, and the owner has not power to fetch them away.

Objects Appearing in Circles on Ministry of Defence Land in Somerset, England

First of all isn't it funny how we all agree that nothing is a coincidence? Let us take a 'normal' appearing landscape of furrowed fields supposedly growing 'crops'. You will have heard of Fairy Rings or Pixie Rings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_rings and of course you can read about our theories on Crop Circles in the article on this web site. However in early November 2006, what we discovered on the land in question was another circle formed from small yellow cylinders. At the centre of this circle we came across a red tube, which to our delight and surprise we found directly echoed half the angle of the slope near which it was found. The maths shows that red tubes occurring within this zone are cut at this exact angle. My colleague Patrick claims that this occurs 'naturally' and while I concur with his meaning I beg to differ on his use of terminology. I am currently developing my own thesis on Small World Theory in which I improve on this well-known theory using the 'found objects as tunnels of experience' example. Empirical evidence of this was collected from the scene so 'watch this space', as they say. Of course, space-watching is one of my favourite things, along with drink of tea from my Timehole.co.uk mug.

Of note: on the Wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_rings a contributor by the name of Cropcircles made his/her fist and only addition to the Wiki on December 29, 2006. It was this image with the following caption:"An advancing fairy ring partly obscured by advancing hedgerow" it was changed on January 19, 2006, yesterday to read "A fairy ring partly obscured by advancing hedgerow" by a different contributor.

EDIT: re-tagged. yanka.

In the wikipedia article on fairy rings

Quote:
Another myth states that fairy rings are doors into the fairies' world, transporting people to other places or making people appear in the same place in a different time.

Seems relevent.

Question for Dave...

Curious about your circle theory...

Have you got any ideas for the maximum possible size of one of these circles? How big can they get?

Dave and Pat wrote:
David - Interesting question my friend. Well obviously the physical laws of nature on Earth impose certain restrictions on the circumference: from the tiny rings on an insect's back to those beneath the vast oceans. However, the resonance of a circle could spread across the globe and beyond, thus increasing the circle's power indefinately. I hope this answers your question.

Patrick - Do insects have circles David?

David - Legioninfinity knows what I mean Patrick.

yes I do... or at least, I think I do

although something else has occurred to me...

The Circle itself does not have to be complete right? I mean to say - it doesn't have to take the form of a complete and unbroken circle does it?

It can be described by a number of objects existing around its circumference (as in a fairy ring) with no obvious physical connection between them other than their relative position to each other, yes?

If this is so, how many objects do you think would be the minimum required to define such a circle? 8? 10? 12?
more even? I mean you couldn't describe a clear circular shape with only 4 or 6 objects could ya?

In eager anticipation of your response,
li

PS: Does this have anything to do with orgones?

the new response from David:

Quote:
To answer both your questions Wabonan and legioninfinity: yes circles could be a doorway into other dimensions. Because of their resonance this could also include inner dimensions within the mind. No they don't have to be complete circles but the resonating power between the objects or 'nodes' has to be strong enough to make the circle 'work'. I don't know how many objects makes a circle, I suppose you're right in saying you would need at least five or so. But as for orgones, must you bring sex into everything? I try not to think about that sort of thing. Wait a minute Patrick has just come in with the fish and chips...he says he likes orgones (he might be thinking they have something to do with electronic keyboards but you wouldn't want to get him started on that as he's a very bad keyboard player...and he's put vinegar on my chips.)

sexual orgones - heh
