I just called it and heard the morse code as well. It went too fast for me, too. I'll call again in a bit and see if I can at least get some kind of translation going.
EDIT: Change of plans. I called back and held the phone up to my mic. The quality isn't going to be great, and the little tappings sounds can be ignored because the phone sometimes touched the mic, but the morse code itself sounds different enough that it shouldn't be a problem.

Phone number complete.. Hello!
Here is the phone number: 1-(917) 677-4201.
I simply followed the ROT decryption routine and then decoded the ROT-13 OTE3Njc3NDIwMQ== with the Base64 to yield the number. I saw this posted earlier, but I don't think the full number was there.

Well, I accidentally stumbled onto the first bristelgoodman video on google video a couple days ago and have been pretty much hooked ever since. I was up until...well...late, reading through all the pages on this forum post and I figured it was time for me to jump in.

Is there any chance you can send that recording to me or something? Whenever I try to download it, it turns up as a php file that isn't recognized by any program I have, but when I just click on it, it takes me to a new window as a quicktime file where I can just listen to it in a window. I think that if I could get the actual wave file I could overlay a bunch of morsecode audio I download (the alphabet, etc) and match it up that way to see what it says.
That is of course, unless someone here actually knows morse code or has already figured it out, in which case I'll just step aside and smile and nod

Sure thing. I can do that right now, in fact.
EDIT: Or I would, if I had your email addresses.

I emailed the morse to Wired, and once MickeyFinn provides his email address I'll send it to him, too. Hopefully that'll help.
EDIT: Correction, I've now sent the audio off to both MickeyFinn and Wired. And I also had a horrible thought: Remember when we were all working to find out what the ASL said? And then we found out that all it did was spell out Bristel Goodman? What if the same thing happens with the morse code?

Service horrible. Redirected twice. First rep sounded like mud, but redder. Or Service horrible. Redirected twice. First ret rep sounded like mud, but redder. Sounds crazy to me. But several people that do morse code say that's what it is.

Thanks for the email, Esteed. Listening to it now, having slowed it down and changed the pitch. It's still really hard to make out, but I think it's the same pattern repeated a few times rather than one long message. I'll let you know if I get any further with it. Oh, and btw, Finn is a girl's name too.

Ya, it's the same thing repeated. I'm playing around with it now, although with brrittany's post that may be unnecessary....although I'm kind of hoping your friends didn't quite hear it or something because to be honest...that makes no sense to me whatsoever.
Edit: Yup, from what I hear, brrittany's got it right.

morse code I left a message after the "morse code" and about six minutes later I got a text message that said "gwxcdydrz" I've tried to decipher it but it's just a jumbled mess? Any body have luck with the morse code?
