CHESS COLUMN

I may have the "Mate in 6, black to move" from Chess Column. Would someone who knows more about chess than I do check this for me?

Code:
      Rf2
Ke1   Bb4
Kd1   Bb3
Kc1   Ba3
Kb1   Nc3
Ka1   Ra2

Re: Drive In
"Re-compose" might mean composers

From the movie titles:

Batman Forever - Elliot Goldenthal
The Ten Commandments - Elmer Bernstein
Mars Attacks - Danny Elfman
The Thing From Another World - Dimitri Tiomkin
The Day The Earth Stood Still - Bernard Herrmann

No idea as to what significance any of these might have yet. Confused

MEMORIAL PLAQUE [solve]

CREDIT Sin_Vraal

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
[22:33] <Sin_Vraal> 1) DATE SHIP
[22:33] <Sin_Vraal> take the letters from the ship name that are indexed by the date #s
[22:34] <Sin_Vraal> so for mary celeste i think it was THCY
[22:34] <Sin_Vraal> do that and put them in the boxes next to the ship names [edit - then take every fourth letter]
[22:34] <Sin_Vraal> then make words
[22:34] <Sin_Vraal> you can make...
[22:34] <Sin_Vraal> CRSYTAL DR
[22:34] <Sin_Vraal> Dr. Ray Brown found an atlantis fire-crystal in the bahamas at the tip of the bermuda triangle
[22:34] <Sin_Vraal> and thus the answer is... ray Brown

Chess Column is solved - I'm assuming the final six moves were the final from the particular match that is the answer.

Drive In [Solve]

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Google the music for the movies - they are all referred to as part of the Theremin Era (which is also what the missing letters spell). The answer is Theremin.

The missing letters are an anagram for Theater but that is not the answer.
