Ams I'm not saying that we want you to figure this out all by yourself. But if you don't share HOW you're getting the info, only the info itself, then that is exactly what will happen. Because no one will be able to follow what you are doing and, therefore, we will be unable to assist you in discovering new things.

How can we use pictures and videos usefully with no reference to where they were found or their connection to other parts of the website???

It is like handing someone the answers to a test on material they never learned without marking which answer goes with which question; frustrating, stupid, and rude.

ams, in that case the polite thing to do is post how and where you got the info, but in a spoiler. That way the person has the choice to search for themselves or to just go to the answer. Don't just assume that everyone's been doing the same thing you have or actually want to go through all the work you have as well.

Withholding the route to an answer will only serve to get people hating on you and doubting your source or methodology, if not just the credibility of your answers.

It's better for everyone here, if you post an answer, to post the path to it as well. Otherwise don't post the answer at all, and don't hint that you've got the answer. That's how we have a great community - of sharing, and challenging by giving people a choice to solve for themselves or not - the spoiler tag.

At this point we don't doubt that the info you got is valid, but the comments that were made are a natural reaction to seemingly random answers without a connection other than the poster's word. And getting upset over others getting upset just makes things worse for some people.

I think the question we all still have at this point is where you came up with 'thefirst7' as a password. If you want, put that in a spoiler...

We don't hate you any less (at least, we shouldn't), but please, for the sake of etiquette and to keep tension here low, if you're going to post answers, post the paths (under spoilers, though sometimes even that can be too much - we often urge only answers themselves to be spoilered) you took to get those answers. If it's credit you want for the solve, then you'll have it, at the very least for the fact that you were the first to post it, and your name could be linked in whatever official resource there is out to having solved it.

...Then we can all just move on, and have happy time!
