The purpose of the AI Man is to capture Whomp

1) It should be asked the AI to trace the origin of any anomaly, of the same nature that he can do, but that he didn´t.

2)Go to that place

3)Make them stabilish mutual contact

4)Then surrender the whomp or just run away.

5) That should make the AI man think a bit more.

Okay, here is my opinion. Have any of you read the comics on "The Matrix" website (http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/)? There are two in there that kind of seem similar. They are the two stories Goliath by Neil Gaiman and System Freeze by Poppy Z. Brite.

The first one isn't that relevant except that the world around him freezes and restarts, with him constantly having de ja vu of his whole life.

The second one is more pertaining. I'll give you a brief summary if you don't feel like reading it. This woman is a programmer working on AI, and she is also into the outdoors. One day she tries climbing Mt. Everest, and she falls through some ice into a crevice. She figures she will die, but after a few minutes a man in a suit walks through the walls to her and asks her if she finishes the program he will save her life. So she agrees. "And then with no sense of transition she was back on the surface of the mountain, within sight of Camp Four at the base of the South Col." A few months later, she decides to give up the program. Then the same guy shows up in suit and glasses, but she doesn't really remember him. He aks if she has finished. She says that she decided she didn't want to anymore. Then suddenly, "Fine's body was changing, glittering, a mass of proliferating crystals seeming to burst from his mouth, chest, abdomen. Ice. Ice coming out of his body, advancing like a speeded-up film of glacial encroachment. Ice touching her, surrounding her. Ice tightening around her and cracking her bones.
"We hate it when our batteries give out early," she heard [Agent] Fine say, and then the ice covered her face and she knew no more."

NEWays, I feel that this AI is very similar to this Agent Fine, who can change himself, surroundings, and just about everything he wants, permanently. She is actually teleported, proving that it is affecting the physical. Although, it could be considered affecting the perception since the entire Matrix is just one big simulation and anything physical would really be just how yours and everyone else's mind sees it. So technically, either way one chooses we are all right.
Maybe we could ask her if she thinks AI could be affecting both physical world and her perception at the same time. Although that might be giving her a little too much info if we have to explain to her what we mean.

what is the program that the collector was offering? he seemed to be offering a program to take people partially out of the simulation. how do I get to that?
