I'm still not sure what the need rest thing is, but maybe it has something to do with tab also.
A rest is a musical term for a beat in which no notes are played. It basically means when you reach that part of the song, you would hear silence.

Ah, wait, I'm an idiot. It DOES play "Daisy" on the guitar if you just pluck the individual strings (four lowest) and don't try to make a chord out of it.

Yeh, was just gonna say something. It works absolutely fine.
btw: With tab, if the chord isn't written out, it doesn't mean a chord. And as its on four strings you can tell its bass, so therefore, yeh, its played on E A D G. Keep playing!

Haven't the foggiest! As you said, with nothing indicated to slide to or from, they're pretty much meaningless.

I noticed it seems like there is a couple of smudged out letters on the parchment just above the regular text, don't know if its of any value.

Just to add to the confusion I noticed this face in the Daisy document as well. Getting a bit like the Turin Shroud now.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried de-stegging the image yet? Considering that ILB aparently had stuff hidden in images, it would seem that this one might too. Then again, maybe i'm mis-interpreting 'hidden'. Worth a shot, though.

Stegdetect didn't find anything out of the ordinary.

I filled out the form at daisydaisy.co.uk just in case it was part of it. I know we pretty much determined it wasnt, but just in case . At the worst case I will apparently get some coupons from the website .

There is a lot of Photoshop-specific XML in the .jpg, though. I don't think it's anything in-game.

To be honest, I'm really beginning to suspect that the Daisy page isn't a puzzle. And that the message is telling us to apply the parable to be told in WLB to the real MeiGeist plot.
There is, however methinks, definitely a puzzle to be found somewhere in Thunderwolf's package (lol... aww... that reeeeally didn't sound like I wanted it to! )
