Hey everyone, first off I want to say hi! & that i'm new to the DC and ARG scene in general. I've done a TON of reading tonight, trying to catch up,

Lex told me some interesting news, that no one has talked to Brackin since before christmas and his capture?

I talked to him tonight!! He was on the moment I found his Yahoo Messenger SN. The following is a copy/paste of what I've sent to Lex already.

At first he was standoffish to me. He first said something along the lines of "I'm sorry but tell whoever paid you to find me that you couldn't find me." and when i asked him how he was doing he replied with something around "I'm in no mood to be to be found"
I assured him that I was still not a member of DCorps yet, and truth be told, at that time was still not. he then replied with "then they haven't been able to corrupt you fully. I suppose I can trust you then" then "I need you to get a message to a friend inside." It took him almost 5 minutes to tell me the message he wanted me to send, and then almost another 10 or so minutes for the recipient of the letter who he referred to as "agent casey." we all know now that Casey is really Wang Guantao's alt profile.

His message was:
"The brother of the sodality needs you."

We know that Sodality is the para religion that he referenced in his last post on his original blog. Why is he using "brother" now instead of "prophet"? Also, why the individual naming of Casey?

Hey unfeltkisss, and welcome to the unforums!

Thanks for that information...I think present Brackin contacted Casey because that character has been the most consistently and steadfastly in Brackin's camp. A lot of times in this game, characters will refer to specific players and pass information on to small groups, or only one person (see the "slewth" thread and the Ethan interactions for more on that).

This adds to the list of people slewth might be telling us to find...it could be Brackin, it could be the Judge, or it could be Phil. Hrm.

They've made it fairly easy to get on chat through UnFiction-- just go to http://www.unfiction.com/chat/ , choose a nick, select #deuscity as the channel, and you're in.

I recieved the E-mail and send you one back... thinking that you where an NPC actually *smacks head*.

Anyway the reason I got confused about your NPC status is the following.

I've been in very very brief contact with brother theophilus on the message system. Telling him that im still behind him, and should he need any help he need but ask.

then just before you sent me that message i recieved the following from theo:

I'm not sure if he meant me or not actually. To be honest, I think it would be awesome, but with as new as I am, I have to think that it couldn't possibly be me.

I'm still in the process of checking all my emails and whatnot.
I'll update after I'm done.

Also: Brackin is online in messenger, but set away
