Bother!
Just when I'd worked out the answers to Shuffled, Billion to One, 13th Labour AND Reimann, they disable the old website!!! Life stinks!

Yeah and I just discovered the cure for the common cold and the Centre for Disease Control is closed for a 3-day weekend. Darn the luck!

Trout, Trout - Pretty Little Trout.
One more splash then come right out

Psh. I spent all weekend coming up with this unifying theorem of all science and the Internet's closed for the week. Nothing to do but burn it, I guess...

Update to We <3 puzzles page:
Howdy, puzzlers.
As you may have noticed, we're having a bit of difficulty putting our new site live.
As we haven't just redesigned the appearance of our site, but also the way it works behind the scenes,
we're experiencing a few last-minute, and unexpected technical difficulties.
We understand this is really frustrating for you all, especially those with Season One cards that are ready to solve.
(In case you missed the newsletter, worry not - Season One cards will still be solvable once the new site is up.
We haven't just stopped the game!) We're really sorry for the annoyance this is causing.
We're working hard to get the all-new site going as quickly as possible, and we're fairly sure it should all be happening by Monday.
In the meantime, here's a puzzle for you. Email your answer to otherSPLAT perplexcity.com and we'll select a random winner to receive a totally
fun PicoZ Micro Helicopter, Perplex City goodies, and Guy will write a song about how awesome you are. FACT.
Ready? Here you go:
Swordsmen, honorable, jeopardous. Viscounts soften leopard's fate. Castle's heir hates science; builds doubt counterfeitly.
Aesthetic hymns? Wednesday's answer rhymes "leopard", "djinni"; guaranteeing alignment. Plaid thistles guarantee psychosis.
Once again, send your solution to otherSPLAT perplexcity.com.
Incidentally, if you haven't already heard, we're throwing a party on Saturday 24th February to celebrate the end of
Season One of Perplex Cityand the imminent beginning of Season Two! It's at The Sterling, on the ground floor
of The Gherkin in London. Doors open at 6pm and festivities continue into the wee small hours,
so if you'd like to come, simply RSVP to partySPLAT perplexcity.com.
Finally, Season 2, Wave 1 of our puzzle cards are released on March 1st from a retailer near you. Contact your local supplier for details, or pre-order from Firebox.
(How to find a Cube, part one of many: 156 - Consider the correct typographic term for this phenomenon.
Then, follow the fortress's example, and that should take you quite some way.)
I've started looking at the puzzle.

Wasn't there some discussion about card 156: Going Dotty having something to do with a clue to find the cube? I know it's a moot point now, but MC is probably giving us clues to fill in the meta puzzles.
Anyway, that's what I think the last sentences mean in the update.

Isn't that a halftone? When they use dots to make up an image, like a photograph, in a newspaper or other printed media?

Perhaps they are referring to the names of the jewels and not the dots? The jewel names are the meta puzzle, no?
Would this be called a watermark?
