Season 2 at Firebox Yup, the official retailer is now selling them here . 4 packs for £9.95 or a box of 36 for £79.95, same as last time.
Interestingly, I swear they were selling single packs for £2.95 when I looked a minute ago, but they're gone now o.o

If you click on the image on the Season 2 order page it opens up a bigger picture of the cards.
The top card (the one with the big sun on it) is cleared signed by someone called "Finch" in the same way that kurt, tippy etc. would sign the season 1 cards....
any thoughts, or am i missing the point totally?

FINCH is that cards artist, looks like you are correct.
What i notice is that there appears to be 1 red, 3 orange, 1 yellow, 1 blue, (& the warm up card). THe cards given away at Hamleys were 4 reds, and 2 oranges (i think ) are purples gonna be the new blacks, and silvers the new gold cards??!

My guess is that Finch is Finch from the assault on Ascendancy. You know, the police guy who just couldn't get enough shouting instructions down the radio
Also to notice is that there's another new set, noughts and crosses. Looks like the sets are all based on games of a sort, then.

URGH! Grumble Grumble Grumble...
You told me! You told me! You told me!
But did I listen??? NO! HELL NO!
Ordered two boxes and paid as much as I would for THREE through FIREBOX. If I had just waited 24 hours! Just 24 hours!
URGH! Grumble Grumble Grumble...
You know... I'm editing that. I'm not gonna gripe. There are too many people who want Season 2 and can't get them for some reason. No right for me to be upset.

I wonder if we will have:
1) Rand0m Card
2) Honorary Patrick Harrison card (Hell of a guy!)
Looks like no chance of a Violet neekid card (see question from third interview). But maybe a Scarlett neekid? She didn't say no..

Just looked at the individual packs, the postage is £3.95, shouldn't it be £1.95 like the others?

Yeah, I'm guessing everything is borked on firebox.com. $100 for a box on the US site, $156.50 on the UK site.

There should be some happy Pre-Order folks in the US. There is no way there is a $50 price difference. Must be hosed up. But I'm sure they will honor that price for US folks that have ordered, right? Right?

Price has just been corrected - slightly. Now it's $109.95 USD.

funny, i thought the firebox S2 cards would just reuse this image
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18036
nope, gave us card #044 instead!
oh, and i'll edit this, as soon as someone tells me where i should start it:
card #044 orange(Opochtli) worth :220 perpelx city pts. designed by:FINCH
card reads: Whist the city celebrated, Opochtli wandered out alone to the surrounding mountains. Looking for a place to rest, he spied a cave at the base of the tallest mountain. Entering, he found the walls were carved with intricate symbols and emblems. He recognised several of them. This was a dedication to the goddess of hearth fires and volcanoes, but he could not remember her name.
To whom are the carvings Dedicated?
The Image shows an Aztec Sun stone(calander), but with 2 sets of 11 points around it's face. (22 total) Each point has a symbol on it, and 9 of the 11 symbols on the yellow sun points are bold.
In Aztec mythology, Opochtli was a god of hunting and fishing. (wikipedia)and bird snaring..and is left handed, lol.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Chantico, is the Aztec Goddess of hearth fires and volcanoes.
so this appears to be :
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a new heat sensitive card!!!

Key differences Here are some differences I have found
#1: It only has one points score box.
#2: different characters
#3: cooler
#4: diffenent sets (the colours seem to be in the same place)

Actually, it's only 8 letters long. The first bold glyph also looks different. In any case,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The 2nd through 9th glyphs all contain the capital letters C, H, A, N, T, I, C and O - as well as extra markings
which, given the goddess' area of interest, would suggest to me
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
that the card is using the heat-sensitive disappearing ink from Shuffled
(Can we split the First Solve? )

Anyone know if season 2 will follow season 1 in releasing the cards in waves? If so, any sense of how many cards are likely to be part of wave 1?
