By the way, I DO get that the asterisks are where the answers should go--but usually crosswords use blanks or something.

Ignore all of that! I'm in! I'm in! I've passed the exam!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Exit is the answer. Email "exit" to examSPLATsri-uk.org and after a while you'll get an acceptance email.

Oh, it occurs to me that perhaps the text of the reply is significant, so here it is:

Congratulations,

You have passed S.R.I. Exam01.

The Correct answer was

I emailed Exit also and got the same response. My question is did they want two separate emails one with Enter and one with Exit? Or would one email with Enter/Exit have been good enough?

carmenmiranda, it's not working for me. Did anyone else get what carmen got. I put exit in the subject and in the body of the email. Did I not do it right?

I got the same old response we got before.

Yeh, Enter/Exit works fine. -I think that's the intended answer (good solve carmenmiranda btw!) But sending both separately seems to work ok as well.

Methinks that the answers are checked are responded to manually, with the 'Thank you' email as an auto response. -Hence your lack of confirmation email.

I sent in 'Enter' before, and this time I sent in 'Exit', and got the 'you've passed' message. Maybe you need to send two separate E-Mails/the same E-Mails containing the two answers?

Wow! Nice solve, carmenmiranda! Smile

Never would've thought of that.

I guess this shows that SRI's going to be testing our creativity as well as traditional puzzle solving. Thinking outside the box. Smile

sent both enter/exit and exit by itself and got two blank responses

Maybe they have a limit? But receiving a completely blank response is a bit odd

I sent 'enter' as my first answer, then a few days ago 'enrol',
then I emailed them carmenmiranda's solve 'exit' at about 2200 last night.
(fantastic work on that one cm) Very Happy
I have not sent anything that looks like 'enter/exit'
