According to the Live Journal we're currently at 46.63% through the second keyspace search.

Just looked at one of my clients and we're through the 50% mark (over 10 million). Cool

Passed a personal milestone too (2.5m) Wink

The stats aren't currently on the 13th Labour page, but the graphs are still up and running:

Plus the avatar is still there:

I believe these numbers are pretty much accurate, but I may well be out in places Smile

That is quite impressive. Congrats. Very Happy

I'm curious how many machines and what kinds you have. I've been running on 4 relatively decent machines for mostly 24/7 since the start, and only just passed 400k.

allright everyone, MC said all we need to do is continue in the path we have taken. If you don't have the 13th Labour running yet, get to it.
Let's knock this one out the box, shall we?!

I'm doing the unthinkable and posting before I've read the 66 previous pages, but I just read through the dozens of pages on Riemann, and that took an hour and a half. I've been running the client, so I'm doing my bit. My query is, can we knock this on the head FASTER if we run the client on some sort of supercomputer? Can we collectively petition someone running, say, a Cray, and ask for twenty minutes of processing time? I know, for example, that Imperial College, London, has a supercomputer, but having spoken to a friend on the computing course, he says he's never even seen it, let alone be allowed to use it.

This is a bit naive, but worth asking. Trout at will.

I think we could but the client would have to be rewritten first I imagine.... I'm sure it was mentioned in the past but nothing came of it, can't remember though.

I have around 50 CPUs configured to run the client, but typically only run most of them part-time.
All Intel processors - ranging from 1.7GHz P4 through various Pentium D and Xeon processors to a few Core/Core 2 devices.
The Core 2 CPUs are way best for this task - turning in between 100 and 150 an hour total from 2 client instances (depending on clock speed).
Haven't had a chance to test an Extreme or a Quad core yet... Cool
