Anyone know if season 2 will follow season 1 in releasing the cards in waves? If so, any sense of how many cards are likely to be part of wave 1?
3 waves total. 84 regular cards in wave 1 (not counting warm-up cards).

Yea? Well I heard about that too but they MindCandy also said there would be 256 cards in total 84 cards in 3 waves would only be 252 they might have to slip a few cards in somewhere...

Yeah, Season 1 wasn't even either. Don't know why.

Season 1 was 66, 66, 62, 62, wasn't it?
I'm preferring to contact a friendly local stockist, see if I can do some sort of deal with him on a box. And... any news yet on launch-day events? I get one 'Work-Life Balance Day' at work, which is basically a paid day off to balance my work with real life. Going to PXC S2 launch events sounds like balancing work with life.

"Work/Life balance day"? We call those days "holiday" where I come from
I don't know of any launch day events yet, though. Maybe someone will arrange one in the meantime.

I guess the party next weekend is kind of a launch party since it's only a few days before Season 2 starts. I think I read somewhere that they'd be giving a preview of Season 2.
I pre-ordered my cards from Firebox today, I'm soo excited, I missed the beginning of season 1 so I'm really loking forward to being in the game from the beginning(ish).
Stupid question: On Firebox does it say 'Out of Stock' just because it's a pre-order or is it because they're out of pre-orders, if that makes any sense...

Well the preorders did say "In Stock 1st March" when they originally went up. Then within an hour that message vanished from the boxes - now it's vanished from the 4 packs too. So it looks like they might have allocated all of their first batch.

If I remember correctly both the Wave 3 and Wave 4 pre-orders said "Out of Stock" but we still got them on the day of release or earlier.

Phew, ok...
I sent Firebox an email asking about it but it's Sunday so I don't expect a reply for a while.

There should be some happy Pre-Order folks in the US. There is no way there is a $50 price difference. Must be hosed up. But I'm sure they will honor that price for US folks that have ordered, right? Right?
Has there been any word on this yet? I remember last season that there were reduced rates for PXC stuff as part of a deal with MC, but that doesn't seem to be true in this case...

It shouldn't be MORE than other items on the website, all postage for all items SHOULD be the same acording to the email I got.... might be worth just checking with them.
