PXC Board Game Manual: Academy Noticeboard typos.

Hi all,

The back page of the PXC Board Game instruction manual, features the PXC Academy Noticeboard, to which is attached several notices. However, the notice advertising "The Brotherhood of the Six" features many spelling errors or typos - far too many to be accidental. This must mean something, as all the other notices use correct spellings.

I can scan the whole page if required, but here is a transcript of "The Brotherhood of the Six" notice, complete with the spelling mistakes:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
BIULD A BETTER LIFE. Do you need a new blue print for how to liev? Abandon yuor reverence for piramyds and speres, come to the brotherhood and find out why only cubes make a solid fondation! Constuction classes both spirital and physicial are availible.

Does this mean anything??

I've searched the forum and could find no other mention of this, but feel free to trout if this has been discussed before.

i saw that as well, and smiled. I assume it is a harkening back to the brotherhood site, which is a profound mess. when their website was unveiled, people began scrambling fFor all the typos and errors, trying to get some meaning. nothing was ever fFound, however. I think it's a banana, and the brotherhood simply does not value good typing skills.

I searched all over (here and elsewhere) and didn't find a mention of this... but, then again, it is nearly 2 in the morning, and I'm half asleep already. Shocked Anyway, it's not a clue or anything, but I was playing the board game tonight and came across this Yellow puzzle:

What is the missing letter?

Where the correct answer is Y.

However, on my copy at least,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
both H and Y are missing, and Q is repeated.
There's an error on the card! Crying or Very sad I ended up having to give my boyfriend another roll I didn't want to give him simply because of the unfair error!

I won anyway, but that's not the point. Who knows what COULD have happened?

Wink

The cards are numbered?

*opens box, takes a look*

Well, so they are!

Yes -- the card in question is 064. Cool

I've found several wrong answers as if some of them have been cut and pasted incorrectly. I haven't logged which ones, but will try to do that this afternoon.

Here are 4 more that I've come across so far, they're all in the Green Word Play section on the respective cards:

026 Says the answer is (8,7) but in fact it is (5, 2, 8)
041 Says the answer is (5, 2, 8) but in fact it is (8,7)
049 Says the answer is (7,5) but in fact it is (6,5)
050 There is no way to make the 9 letter answer from the 11 letters given
