That does sound like a more accurate verse, we tried going through 8:32 scriptures all throughout the Bible and 23:8 scriptures as well, but only a few sounded a little close to what has to do with the storyline. Yours sounds a ton more accurate though, it would make sense with the storyline completely.

The only problem is the coded words are kicking our butts. We can't seem to decode or decipher them yet.

AHHHHHHHHH, I know that sunflower means something, but its driving me crazy as to what it could be. Maybe a poem, literature, or song reference? :O

Indeed you did...solved by the person who posted immediately before you! I think this refers either to Norristian (who is undeniably an EEFP) or is an invite to look closely at those frames of the video.

I'm going through each video frame by frame and am currently looking at those flashing spots on 'My demands'. They are more than just flashing spots though, you can see a pattern emerging from the letter 'i' (or from the dot of it) on one of the captions.

Will post more when I've had a good look at it.

EDIT: I don't know...maybe I'm reading too much into it in my enthusiasm. When you magnify it to 1600% you can see a series of changing patterns and on occasions letters DO appear (an 'E' and a 'C' for example) but it could just be a coincidence. I find it hard to believe that the Codemaster would leave a message in such a way as is impossible to read. If there IS something there, then my guess is that each 'blip' (and there are four in total: one at the beginning of the captioned sequence just before the shot of the sun and 3 underneath codes at the end of the video) contains a sequence of letters where each letter is successively shown in the exact same location on screen as the preceding one. But then again maybe they are just flashing dots.

Codemaster is seen celebrating Passover, a jewish religious festival involving

Passover in 2006 was April 12th. A festival evoking themes of slavery and freedom. The Four Cups represent the four expressions of deliverance promised by God in Exodus6:6-7: "I will bring out," "I will deliver," "I will redeem," and "I will take."

Codemaster goes through the following stages of Seder.

� Blessing & first cup of wine
� Wash hands
� Appetizer � a vegetable dipped in salt water
� Breaking of the middle matzah
� Invitation to the Seder � the matzoh are uncovered
� The recital of the ten plagues - Each participant removes a drop of wine from his or her cup using a fingertip. A mnemonic acronym for the plagues is also introduced: "D'tzach Adash B'achav", while similarly spilling a drop of wine for each word. He only spills two drops of wine here (actually he puts two drops of wine on to the plate � at the 8 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions, which may or may not be inconsequential).
� The ritual washing of hands
� The sandwich � the bitter herbs are combined with a piece of matzoh
� The meal � the festive meal is consumed.

Some of the 'narrative' stages of the Passover celebration are missed out.

The z'roa (roasted shank bone) is missing. The outstretched arm of the z'roa (which actually means arm, from the verse "outstretched arm") expresses the giving nature of love. Love is the root and single most important of all emotions � the ability to give, reach out and care for others.

Apologies to any Jewish people if I have mis-spelt anything or have been a little reductive.

Can we deduce that the kidnapper is Jewish, or is it merely a case of it being symbolic of freedom and slavery?

We are then invited to find the only solid source of food which contains all the essential nutrients to sustain human life as Eric will only get the one source of food.

The answer is cat food (a clue posted by the Codemaster pointed to a quotation by the woman with the highest IQ, Marilyn von Savant, who allegedly claimed that dog food - not cat food - was the only solid food that contained everything a human needs to live).

"The future is hell"
The belief in hell is inescapable to those who identify with the ego. Their nightmares and their fears are all associated with it. The ego teaches that hell is in the future, for this is what all its teaching is directed to. Hell is its goal. For although the ego aims at death and dissolution as an end, it does not believe it. The goal of death, which it craves for you, leaves it unsatisfied. No one who follows the ego's teaching is without the fear of death. Yet if death were thought merely as an end to pain, would it be feared? We have seen this strange paradox in the ego's thought system before, but never so clearly as here. For the ego must seem to keep fear from you to hold your allegiance. Yet it must engender fear in order to maintain itself. For it tells him hell is here as well, and bids him leap from hell into oblivion. The only time the ego allows anyone to look upon with equanimity is the past. And even there, its only value is that it is no more.
How bleak and despairing is the ego's use of time! And how terrifying! For underneath its fanatical insistence that the past and future be the same is hidden a far more insidious threat to peace. The ego does not advertise its final threat, for it would have its worshippers still believe that it can offer them escape. But the belief in guilt must lead to the belief in hell, and always does. The only way in which the ego allows the fear of hell to be experienced is to bring hell here, but always as a foretaste of the future. For no one who considers himself as deserving of hell can believe that punishment will end in peace.

Clearly if it is Eric in the video (and I have compared images taken from the finderictaylor site with the image in this video � they are identical as far as I can tell), the date does not tie in to his current age as the date is over 17 years prior to Eric's kidnapping. However, the fact that the preceding female shares this 'date' is significant. Is this the woman with whom Eric had an illicit relationship?

The significance of these letters is as that the dates if transposed to letter positions in the alphabet form 'JESUS SAVES'.

Solved with the comment on Tom D. Cesear's page 'That's odd', indicating that we should use only odd rot values starting at rot25, then rot23 etc.

Tag to 'AmberleighD' brings up a video of a marching band�nothing there I think. Significance of the tag not yet known.

Tags to 'dog Beethoven animation one' throw up nothing which appears to be of significance at this stage (or at least that I can see).

6. How to train your pet (29th November '06)

7. My demands (12th December '06)

Eric reads a statement to camera concerning the kidnapper's 'demands'. We are invited to solve all of his mysteries and Eric will be set free and we (the players) will be 'saved'. We are shown several shots of these 'mysteries'.

The captions:

� Keep Eric alive until the end of my story (one flashing 'dot' appears here).
� And I'll set him free (backdrop of sun glare).
� Figure out all of my secrets (a woman sitting on a sofa, an open door, a statue of Jesus lit by a torch, blooded clothes buried in a hole in the ground, the mask) and you will be saved (note the implication that it is the players who will be saved rather than Eric). Three flashing 'dots' appear beneath the second part of the caption.

Eric's voice is heard, saying "Relax. Nobody knows about this."

I have been watching this thread over the past few weeks. I suck at anything other than basic ROTing so it really helps to have it all summarised in one place.

Also I noticed the Codemaster puts something down on the floor before he cuts Eric's bindings. I can't make out what it is. He appears to intend to leave it in the room as he moves away from Eric and towards the area the door apparently is (not that we've ever seen it).

9. A human life in YOUR hands (2nd January '07)

No coded tags.

Eric is seen in his room and is presented off-screen with a gallon of filthy pond-water. After various shots of Eric staring at the water and cursing, the screen fades to black.

Caption: 'Now�Eric lives or dies�based on your decision.'

Is it me or does the Codemaster need some lessons in grammar? Anyhow, Codemaster enters dressed as Santa, complete with baseball bat and present for Eric. Hilariously funny scene where Codemaster gestures to the camera as if to say, "See, I'm not THAT bad."

Eric opens the envelope and reads aloud Wabonan's answer. "Wabonan? Who the f*ck is Wabonan?" Lol. The guy that just saved your life, Eric!
Eric does his thing with the water and waits for a while. He looks at the camera and says, "Why are you torturing me like this?"

Shot cuts to what appears to be the Codemaster entering Eric's apartment at night. We see Eric's fridge door (upper section � the freezer bit) decorated in:

� Two fridge-magnets in the design of the Codemaster's mask.
� A cartoon-like sketch of what appears to be the Codemaster without a mask. At least, it looks like a face with a black beanie on its head. This is on the left-hand side, half-way down the fridge.
� A photograph of what appears to be Eric's father, his mother and his sister in the top-left.
� A currently indistinguishable photograph on the bottom left.
� A cut-out photo of a house in the bottom centre.
� A photo of a young woman's head bottom centre.
� An A4 sketch which is hard to make out, but to me it looks like a bearded man looking at a cat with a human face. I may be wrong on this one(!).
� A third fridge magnet, different from the other two. Hard to make out what it is, but to me it looks like a figure of blonde woman in a pink top, keeling on the floor and masturbating herself. But maybe I need help.
� The right-hand side of the fridge is taken up by four photos arranged in a 2 x 2 grid. They are exactly the same size and shape. There is an image or symbol on each of the four photos but it is very hard to see what they are (at the moment).
� There is a small photograph of possible a young woman in the top-centre of the fridge.

The camera pulls out and reveals the fridge door, which has items stuck to it:

� A dollar bill (but I can't tell the difference between a $1 bill and a $120 bill as I'm British).
� A cut-out sketch which could be anything. If you look at these things long enough, you end up seeing whatever you want in them. It messes with your mind.
� Two photographs, near-impossible to see what they show, one of which appears to be paper-clipped to a letter.
� Another letter, which appears to be on cream note-paper.
� A small rectangular card which could be a gold-coloured credit-card.

The view switches to what appears to be a hidden camera in the kitchen which has been spying on Eric. Eric enters the room and, speaking into the telephone, says, "Relax. Nobody knows about this."

Caption: 'I know.'

Solution: Rot13 and reverse to read 'Matthew Ten Colon Thirty Plus Clicks'

This probably refers to the number of clicks in the video 'You will see everything', which if it's 8 clicks (including the 2 that can be heard at the beginning) points to "And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me", and if it's just the six clicks you hear at the end leads to "and a man's foes shall be they of his own household."

What's up ladies and gents. I'm an avid game player who for the past 10 years have thrown myself into head to head online games never knowing that ARG's were even invented. Now I've fallen in love with games all over again. I've been throwing myself into every game I can get my hands on.

I've read everything in this post, watched all the films, and pulled out all those cyphers i used to play with when i was bored.

When I put the whole 2 part cypher into everything I got nothing but giberish. Then I realized he did everything in reverse and usually split things up. So I tried everything seperate and in reverse.
When the first cypher was put into my Monoalphabetic Substitution Solver, on about the 5000th key tried:

SFFLRMV became ATTHERI.

Key: SGZIREWLVQPBKXCAJMHFDTYUON
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

We all know Codemaster reads these forums, and i think i remember seeing right before or after the video came out someone said something about "can these things get harder than RoT, and for the love of god no more bible quotes". I think he listened...

I have yet to figure out the second cypher or what it might be coded in, or maybe my program just hasn't found the right key (turned it off around 11million keys tried on the second cypher) but deductive reasoning tells me that fully put together the cypher reads..

When I wake up later today I'm gonna go back and watch the latest flick frame by frame to see if there is any references to what we now know....

Time!!!!! haha. Sunflower, Sun being the operative word here might lend a hand to say 8:32 a.m. maybe? Also going to look up any bible references to "at the right time". We all know he thinks he's God.

The Genesis inlays throw me off a bit though. Adam and Eve did bite the apple creating original sin which was going against Gods word which took away innocense, brought pain to having children, and stripped them of their immortality (going against codemaster brings Erics innocense to an end, pain, and finally death). But actually ending the video with it has to be more significant than that. I really don't want to read the whole book of Genesis. Hah!

I don't know. There is definitely more to this video we don't know yet. Why else could this be the second longest he's gone without posting another flick?
