Two things -
1} doesn't it look like blinking, complete with eye lashes {blink reaaaallly slowly sometime, and look at your eye lashes in the process}.

2} wasn't there spec at one point that we are being manipulated by the entity that is also anoying Eva? If it is smart enough to turn on the camera, start filming, and post a blog entry.... what is to say it can't do more?

Yes, there is a chance the pm's just did a bang up editting job.... Or perhaps it was all very intentional. I guess really we will have to wait an see, because as much as this might have clues to the plot at hand, it certainly doesn't seem to be things we can use for anything. Not like a puzzle, or something to email out to someone to move things along.

I did look at the video frame by frame, but it didn't look to me like there was anything useful in the shots. I took about 14 stills, which I haven't posted because it seems like a lot. Let me know if you guys would like me to, though.

Well I would like to see the stills as I don't manage to make them myself. The dots on Eva seem to me like something intentional.
By the way - do we have any proof that Keir is dead? The press didn't see the body, nor did any of us. In case he is alive, however, he must be either held somewhere against his will - otherwise he would have contacted Eva! - or be himself in some plot against Eva (which I doubt).
It may be that the message about his death is a fake in order to provoke emotions in Eva. Remember that her emotions usually have some weird effect.

Agreed, Keir may not be dead... We can't say for sure either way. Even if he is alive, it doesn't necessarily follow that he is being held against his will. We only have his word for it that it was him in those photos and his own account of his agenda.

As to the video, I suspect the levitation was filmed separately with greenscreen or something similar and then superimposed on to the blog film from the point where eva briefly goes out of shot. This is why when she reappears she looks slightly out of proportion but the real giveaway is that she has no shadow when she returns to the screen.

As to the blippy static effect, I am agreed with tim7168 that this is deliberate and designed to show an increasing level of interference produced by eva's growing powers.
