To me, all those young japanese kids freak me out. Too much "Legend of the Overfiend" and other anime I guess. So if I were you, I'd be on a flight to Enid, Oklahoma. (Cause sometimes those goth kids scare me too, and there is only one goth kid in Enid, and he lives with his mom in the winter in Wichita Falls.)

I'd be worried because Oklahoma is closer to Wyoming. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Does anyone have the first 4 vids available for downloading? I'd like to collect them all.

See my summary post on page 33. I have links to the first four. I'm going to edit it now to include #5

I was hoping for files I could collect on a CD for future viewing pleasure. I'll have to see if any of my techie buddies can make that happen.

And, er, hope that the DM dudes don't have a problem with that. I'd rather not have to deal with Black Eyed Kids on top of the rest of life. I don't have spooky stuff insurance.

i don't know. the capitalization's weird. it's not necessarily a negative word, so he must've wanted an e instead of an a for some reason.

I think he's just capitalizing for emphasis.

The question; The answer

Have we received any information from you, either in the posts or the videos, that was in the form of a cypher or an encryption?

Somewhat. I have dropped many hints at what is exactly going on, there are many Unconnected connections, much backstory seems to have gone Unnoticed, etc.

However, I have made no little Riddles or word Games you have missed. Well, none that are necessary to fulfilling my work. Perhaps I will in the future. Perhaps not.

You will have the opportunity to ask me of something else after videos six and seven are released.

So, we know now the capitalization was unrelated to any sort of code, and we also know we need to comb through the previous information and make some connections. Good question imo. Rolling Eyes Wink Rolling Eyes

New story up. I haven't read the whole thing all the way through, but I do know that 1) the black-eyed people have a strange fascination with Lusk, Wyoming, and 2) they hate Homer.

They sound like the mennonites (similar to the Amish) that were all around where i grew up. Except I never noticed any of them having black eyes. I'm not sure why I was reminded of them....maybe because they all had kids. And maybe because the story reminded me of Children of the Corn in a strange way. Whatever...They're kind of creepy.

Very strange story, but the end of it he tries to link it back to the original BEK story ("I may have been approached by them once more. I was in a parking lot in Minneapolis when what I think may have been two of them came up to my car. I sped off before they could speak.") Good stuff.

Make sure to post your experiences, the more responses we get the faster we get videos 6 and 7, and yuou could be the next chosen one!

I hate to make a stupid comment, but the detail in the story about the kids having to ask for permission before they could go into the house reminded me of some half-remembering thing my goth friend from high school told me. Isn't it part of vampire lore that they can't cross boundaries (or go through doors. or something) without asking permission?

Just a thought.

Good catch, but it seems the black-eyed kids are something aside from vampires if you check the lore on them. But it may be similar as our guy mentions the one having to "feed" in the second story, but then again, in the same story, the guy doesn't have to ask permission to enter the house.

It is part of some vampire lore, but if I remember correctly you have to invite them before they can enter at all. Obviously, the kids were able to go in when he wasn't there, and the "cop" mentions that they only need permission if someone is actually at home. So I don't think we're dealing with vampires at all, or if we are they certainly aren't of the typical type.

Yeah, I've actually done quite a bit of research on BEKs over the past year or so. Personally, I think it's sort of the "paranormal topic de jour", much like Shadow People were for a while.
BEKs are "psychic vampires", who fall into the same category (and use the same rules) as the better known type of vampire. The only difference is that they feed on fear and emotions rather than blood. But the usual "can't-come-in-unless-invited" thing applies to them just like it would to a regular vampire.
People believe that they take the form of children to play on people's trust and wanting to help a child in need.
Do they exist? I honestly don't know. I used to think that Shadow People were a myth, too, until I actually saw one at an abandoned prison last summer.

Concerning the Black Eyed Kids and invitations:

According to the small literature on the phenomena out there, the vast majority of BEK incidents do in fact take place at the person's home. It will almost certainly be in the evening or at night, and the "child" will always ask to be invited in.

Now, vampires are not the only supernatural creatures who require invitations. Vrykolakas, various demons and other supernatural undead are sometimes required, depending on the author.

It seems to be something inherent to the BEK themselves, rather than a clue to their identity.

Whats really interesting is how they got included into the story at all. This is a pretty unheard of phenomena, even within supernatural and similar related fields. Finding much info on them is very difficult and there seem to be no cases previous to 98.

Honestly? While I've never seen a BEK, I have seen a Shadow Person once, very briefly. Scared the hell out of me, heh. So I don't doubt that some form of the BEK phenomenon is real.

As far as the story on the Happy Cube forums, the cop - a Black Eyed Adult, if you will - says that they require an invitation unless you're absent or asleep. I may have missed some lore at some point, but aren't vampires kept out even then unless they have an invitation?

EDIT: So it begins. He's updated the Happy Cube forum.

Quote:
The Children are beginning their observations. There are about fifteen. As I have said before, if you find yourself being Followed, do not Flee. If you somehow spot them, do not approach them. They are bound not to Harm or Feed from anyone at this time.

If you Avoid leaving your home, other methods will be used for observation.
