Great job, Interloper, and awesome finds, Snowfox. Don't mind me, I'm just going to plug the hell out of irc chat, since we've had quite a few new poeple join up. We have a chat room on the irc.chat-solutons.org. You can point your irc client there, and meet up with us in #HappyCube. If you're lacking an irc client, you can use the UNforums java-based irc chat;

http://www.unfiction.com/chat/?chan=unfiction

Just change the channel name to #HappyCube.

Hope to see all of you in there.

PS- I'm there all the time whether I'm at the computer or not, so feel free to come in and idle, or to wait imaptiently for me to come back, whatev.

I really wanted to join the chat earlier today, but I couldn't find chat-solutions on my IRC server dropdown. Would you mind helping a hapless technophobe out please? Very Happy

uhhmmm, if you're using mIRC, go into your options menu. From the "Connections" tab, choose servers, click "Add." For the description, put what you like. 'Chat-solutions' 'unfiction' whatever, personal preference, same for the 'group' box, too. The server is 'irc.chat-solutions.org' no quotes. The port is 6667, no password. After that, hit add, and then find the group name you used in the server selection thing, select it, and connect.

God, that took for ever to get caught back up. So I guess I am back in this for a little while longer. I can't help but rubbernecking this train wreck. So bring on the little black eyed bastard children.

Hey little kiddy, kiddy (cracks one in the head with a baseball bat)

Alright gotta go sign up on the happy cube forum!

Edit: Will someone please take the video lists, links for the sites, and story so far and put it on a seperate thread. This is driving me nuts, trying to find all the links in this 40 page thread.

Static Story-so-far

In lieu of making a new topic, to avoid the clutter, and such, I've put everything into a text file, and I'll attach it to this post. Just bookmark the link location and you can access it at anytime.

aninterloper, where did you get that translation? Because when I ran that quote through Babelfish on every language "to English", none of it came up as anything remotely resembling English.

Also, hi. I'm new, Snowy dragged me in. Smile

Edit: Using the original, I got something similar to the second "translation" aninterloper posted.

"You do not have no right to me to submit the questions. Abstain from it speaks in with from now and from now on, small."

From Babelfish

...new player

I can't believe I'm joining. I'm already creeped out. Have seen the first five videos, though one on youtube -- the one that has 2 responses -- won't load for me yet.

Think it's interesting, I poked around youtube for a bit, clicking on various users that are subscribed to each other... Let me see if I can retrace this...

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Tachi20 (via comments on GiveMeANumber)
to

to

Shamash... 3... 3... 3...

Maybe a dead end, but the triple 3?!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_U-TKdmgbI one of his videos, HAS A LINE SAYING "MAY THE LIGHT SHINE ON YOUR PATH AND MAY YOUR WILL BE STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD BACK THE DARKNESS THAT FOLLOWS YOU".

The darkness that follows you?!

Video also has creepy, creepy music akin to the Wyoming videos?

Another user, http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=electricpigeon , has posted on his comments that he may be recruited for something... following that user, we find http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=cluechaser , CLUE CHASER?

Please tell me I'm reading too much into these accounts... or maybe I've not read enough?

Your, fine. I just never get to use the trout Emoticon. By the way, welcome to UF. Its almost a tradition on UF, to Trout a new member. No harm done, just kinda fun. But glad to have you aboard, we can use all the help we can get on this. Shocked Silly

Shamash333 is Arkaham on the forums. The looking for AV threads should be in the archives. lol that one was alot like this one . It would be easy to confuse them. It was about sucubus's.

Babelfish has an annoying habit of only accepting perfectly formatted unicode text; not transliterations. I had to use a Greek dictionary and parse it word-by-word; hence the disjointedness and lack of grammar. My translation in quotes is pretty much raw from the dictionary ('just' and 'rules' are switched, and I guessed at the pronouns, articles, etc.).

Edit: I never saw this before:

Did anyone have good guesses as to the question? I think for some reason it has to do with the number of videos.

Well, I just joined on the Happy Cube forum as well. Can't resist the lure of the creepitude any longer!

I guess that means I ought to register here, too... (Especially since I have the feeling I may want to make a hobby out of this ARG thing.)

Twisted Evil hehehe another convert to the "church of the ARG".
Yes, please register. You get some nifty prizes - the ability to private message other players, to edit your own posts, to provide an appropriately sized avatar (70x70) and other potential super powers. Wink
