but they did tell me on the phone that the message has changed on the website for cities in which the coins have been found. Just curious if they did actually change...

Houston found?

I'm assuming the Houston coin was found since it IS NOT in the very obvious location that the final clue referenced.

When I log in, I also get this message:

"You're practically a pro at this point. You've entered all the codes you can enter to get clues. Keep reviewing your clues – and go find the treasure. Got more codes? Play Instant Win. "

Found <> claimed

Although it isn't clear why somebody would do it, it is possible that somebody found the coin, but didn't call it in yet, so even if Dr Pepper thinks the coins are still out there, they may not be.

Anybody else wonder if someone not playing the game (homeless person) could have picked up the coins? The one in our area wasn't really hidden, and was in a park where I have seen quite a few people (not hunters) sleeping over the past couple of weeks.

Indy still lets you enter codes, I suppose our guy just hasn't called it in yet, for what ever reason.

just called both dr. pepper numbers(for like the 10th time each), and here we go:

There WILL NOT BE any web updates or anything else stating where a coin was found (city and location) until the ENTIRE promotion is over, and all winners have signed their afidavids (sp!) which takes at least 21 days. so no, we will not know, unless we SEE A PIC OF YOUR COIN.
(the 18665764868 number people don't know crap)

so yeah, in the festivities, i'll go ahead and claim i found the Florida coin, so i can keep looking for it by myself.

Re: Baton Rouge coin
To ashley

I live over in Mississippi. Did I meet your husband, Jeremy, on Tuesday? He said he did some work in Moss Point, which is close to where I live. And he didn't show agint Wednesday morning, so I guessed he had already looked or found it. He said he or his wife might be out again once the final clue was revealed at 2 a.m. (He said you were the brains of the operation, by the way.) Anyway, if you do hear who got it, I'd love to know. I'm curious by nature and even more so because so many people struck out on this one. Newspaper guy
HEY GUY --I DIDN'T FIND IT--CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE LAST TWO CLUES--I WAS OUT A 2:30 IN THE RAIN AND SUCH--I WAS THE GUY ON THE BIKE

Baton Rouge

Newspaperguy- I'm not Jeremy's wife, but there was a couple out and about the same area that my search crew and I were. Unfortunately, none of us had any luck. I wonder if there is any possibility that the Baton Rouge coin has not been put into place yet. Any thoughts?

New York?

Did anyone hear anything about a coin in New York/Central park? I have seen nothing on this location at all.

Nashville

thers no way it was in nashville!! the 24th clue says to leave the capital and cross the state and the last 6 clues do not match the location they are quoting they found it in! im confused!!!

Yes, it did say to leave the capitol and cross the state...but in the bicentennial mall directly behind the capitol is anlaid stone map of the state....it was there, and all the rest of the clues dealt with things in the bicentennial mall.

CT, have you been looking in Central Park? Been there today?
It had to have been found by now, based on how easy the clues got, right?

more on Boston

Amymisha,

I can confirm what you are saying about Boston--

Right after I left this morning, I got a call back from the guy at the Park Services (remember I called and "asked for an appointment?") Well, he started grilling me about it, and I confirmed that I did go there because of the Dr Pepper promotion. He was REALLY mad, and said they had no permits for that site, that no permit would ever be given for that site, and that if there is something there, there would be consequences. He mentioned the fiasco with the Aqua Teen Hunger Force situation, and implied the area was NOT reopening until this was resolved. I suspect that tomorrow there will be reporters there, a nice little side story to the whole cartoon situation.

I filed complaints in three different areas of Dr Pepper, including the hotline, and I think that other Boston people should do the same. What worries me the most is the possibility that someone could cheat to get the coin by tresspassing at night.

In my dreams, the coin is somewhere else, and we were all fooled.... in that case, kudos to the winner. But the solutions to other cities just confirm to me the transparancy of the clues, so how could we all be wrong?
