The background tower is from iStockphoto. It is called rapunzel, rapunzel.

Isn't the basic storyline of Rapunzel about a man and his wife that have to give up their daughter to a witch? Then the daughter lives in a tower until a prince rescues her.
Are we to assume that the hackers are going somewhere to rescue Dina? Or is it Scratch?

Don't know if it's important, but there is a difference between the pictures.

maybe they were just afraid we'd blow the plaque up and read on it where the tower is, and since that's not important they got rid of it?
(not that anyone on here would blow up a plaque and play around with it until they could read it)

Actually there are two plaques smudged out. One on either side. If it had been just one I could see how it might be some kind of identifying plaque (although a little too high to read, don't you think?), but since there are two, I don't think they are plaques.
[Edit: Man I wish I could get on IRC at work... Stupid Firewall!! I want to be able to discuss this in #matrix and I can't right now. Grrr.]

I don't think we are supposed to be gleaning clues from the fact that it's a stock photo. It is of course interesting to know where various files originally came from, but it almost feels like cheating to use metadata from a stock photo site as part of a clue/hint/solve/whatever.
Edit: ...especially when comparing differences between the original stock photo and the in-game usage of it.

to-night.graffle is there now. And it's good!
Hmmm. One of these quotes sounds a lot like a conversation BriEnigma and I had in the #matrix channel on the 14th. Here's the relevant snippet:
Quote:
[16:47] BrianEnigma> caesar and texel, sitting in a tree...
[16:47] Diandra> H-A-C-K-I-N-G
[16:48] BrianEnigma> HA!

shut up
Our current assumption has been that .graffle = Omni. If that's the case, why would he/she have someone make fun of him/her in his/her own picture?
Anyway, that's an awesome picture

my interpretation of the to-nite.graffle pic is just to let caesar know that there are four of them on their way - omni, static, bounce and buzzkill(?)

Makes a lotta sense (^) out to lunch... four hacker buddies in a 'plane flying towards a fort.
I'm with you there... So... does that make 5 including Caesar, or 7: are Tex and Random with Caesar already?
