Wondering that myself. Sad
I am guessing that if nothing happens by the weekend, it's pretty much done with.

Well, I'm calling at 3 CST. We'll see what happens from there.

CST = Central Standard? That'd be 4PM my time (EST). I'll stick around and see what happens with that. Let us know.

It better not be, especially after I made an account just for this...

By the way, hello all. I may have seen you on the IRC.

The reporter who wrote about the bookstore closing is now trying to track down the Masons for me. See, the cute voice makes people go along with almost anything.

Sweet good job snowfox. Hopefully it will lead to something. If it does I will go see if I can find the book. I just hope this isn't another wildgoose chase.

Bah...nothing new, i see. I'm afraid we've all been had. What a disappointment. I'll keep checking back, though, just in case.

And, by the way, whoever posted this

non fiction means real. fiction means fake. you might want to keep that in mind.

Hey, we're still trying. Progress is being made on finding the Masons, and hopefully the book.

I found an interesting message on http://community.cnhi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/90510611/m/323100936/p/2 , the last post, that says the bookstore's contents were sold to someone in Richmond.

Researching this, and knowing there's a Richmond, Indiana, I've found three bookstores that may have bought his stock, and one that's particularly promising. Snowy has volunteered to call them tomorrow.

Also, while there's no John Mason listed for Lebanon, there is a Jon Mason. Another call for tomorrow.

I noticed that "Jamie" hasn't logged in to his YouTube account for a couple of days...and none of the moderators on HappyCube have logged in since yesterday, either.

It doesn't look good, guys. Sad

Who wasn't from Lebanon? The Masons?

Also in this article http://www.reporter.net/siteSearch/apstorysection/local_story_002090731.html (which admittedly isn't that great on details, since the headline and the first sentence contradict each other) it says there's a going-out-of-business sale on the 24th, which is tomorrow (Saturday, if I haven't totally screwed up my sense of time).

Maybe if you have a few minutes on Saturday you could pop over and see, djsampson? I'll see if my throat sounds less like a frog's stuck in it and maybe call myself, but having someone in person might be worth it, too. Depends on if you're up for it.

yeah they lived somewhere else but just had the two shops in lebanon. I was thinking about going back and seeing if this knife was actually around out in the tree patch I found on google earth. I can stop back by the store but there isn't anything left to sell so I highly doubt they will be back open. But I guess its worth stopping back by.

Anything new from thehappycube forum or is it still locked up.

Seems like it'd be worth a shot, checking the patch of trees and the supposed sale. But then, it's your Saturday. Wink
