PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!
We demand another story written by Rand0m!

Okay, the party was last night. It is now NOON (GMT) the next day! Get your arses out of bed, off the couch or get up off the bathroom floor where you collapsed last night and tell us about the party!

Rand0m, you are now our official story teller. Tell us a story about a magically party, with magical people in a magical place.

My head hurts, my vocal cords feel like they were beaten with a club and I got naff-all sleep after missing my last train home by moments despite a taxi driver who was determined to get me to Waterloo in time whatever the cost to life and sanity...

Great night! Very Happy

Turned out I'd met rand0m once before (was news to me, LOL, I have a terrible memory).

The cube was stolen again.

We were given "keys" for www.perplecitystories.com

We were given business cards with www.violetunderground.com on them.

We were given a huge letter from sente.

We were given S2 cards.

A few of us were "given" (took) Lecks.

There was ceretin to eat (M&Ms with ceretin and cognivia on).

There were perplexcity cupcakes Very Happy

Ermmmmmm, I'm sure there was more but I can't remember what at this moment, lol, just got home, unfortunately I don't have a camera or scanner and any pictures I took are on a camera which isn't mine, should get the pictures tonight though).

Oh, and the cube was stolen again.... and replaced with a glass (pictures to come).

ps. It wasn't the cube it was a "replica" Wink

Oh, and for anyone who didn't meat me, I was the guy with the krispy kreme doughnuts Razz and standing right behind adrian when he made his speech, LOL.

Oh, and for anyone who was there, when he said "yes of course I'd say that" it was a reply to me whispering to someone else "of course he'd say that" Embarassed

Anyway, anymore questions I'll try answering, just post em here.

Would like to know what happened (if anything) after 10, I left around then.

Questions and stuff

Well (for all you experienced players...or not...says mr.712th)

(Not much to do with the partay)

Are the Hamleys cards going to be in the packets because the points for season 2 are wild and there only worth 20 (apparently)?

How come as soon as I start doing the daily puzzles they stop and are they backsolveable? I have a total of...hmmm lets see 0

When do we get a "key"?

And one last thing I am almost sure on unfiction we had a discution about the Cube being stolen again...

I dunno, but when the replica was "stolen" it was retrieved immediately and locked in a cupboard to prevent it being stolen by someone drunk, making a problem.

I don't know when others get a "key" on perplexorum someone said that they aren't required and you will get an ID code (like the ones on the key) the key is just a novelty thing really (and everyone got 2 so someone else may be willing to send you one).

Aw, man. I knew I should've sold my computer to head on out there.

...although that probably would've been counter productive in the long run...

Here are some observations from my POV..for what it's worth.

At 6.45pm, some 100 metres from the Gherkin, 3 police cars with sirens ablazing zoomed past us as we approached the pickled partay place. We thought 'this is going to be some partay!'

The Gherkin is a great place for a partay.

The party bag was a nice touch..keys, badge, cards! The free drink was also a bonus!

I spent most of the time in the 'library' section talking to strangers and trying to convince my friend to start playing PXCS2.

Some cool things to look at, touch, taste and drink.

Good speech by Adrian...Lamborghini!? Leather trousers!?

But...the 3P didn't turn up (their day off) and the music was way too loud for people to talk. Crying or Very sad

Managed to put names to faces (players and MC staff).

Didn't win the competition.

Left at 10.30pm, as I was getting tired, hoarse and hungry.

By the way did anyone else notice what the combination lock number was on the suitcase of lecks.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
333

I'm beginning to think I'm the only person who didn't make off with a handful of those things... all I did was pinch one to sign and give to Guin for the 13th Labour prize fund. By the time I thought of nabbing one for myself it was too late. I wouldn't mind, but it was supposed to be my reward!

Me Leckless too. Did manage a poster though. At £11 for a pint and a glass of wine the drinks were definitely in 2nd mortgage territory.

Other than that an excellent night and well worth the 510 mile round trip. Great to put some faces to screen names.
