I dunno if anyone has brought up the significance of the term "Star Chamber", but it was used as a makeshift court in London before they had a formal, modern court. (Starting in the 15th century)

Later it was quite misused and became known as a place for religious interrogation.. (Like an English Inquisition)

It seems a bit of a strange coincidence if this has nothing to do with the game, but it might just be to set tone..

 		Right, i'll just throw this into the mix

I'm off to the NIN gig tonight in Manchester and i'll take a couple of posters with me from the Art Is Resistance site and wave them around... see if it catches anyone's attention. I doubt anything will happen but if it does, I'll take my camera so I can provide pictures.

Let's not cast aspersions on the belief systems of others, ok? What one person may consider a myth, another believes wholeheartedly.

I'm sorry that text was not my words, it's a quote from a website that presented both sides believer & skeptic. But it does bring up a valid question of belief system: in the game there is alot of manipulation of belief systems in relation to the government, The Presence, Resistance, Art and terrorism; as for The Presence what's the general consensus?:: Metaphysical manifestation, government propaganda tool, metaphor for "mother nature's revenge" or simply a by product of parepin & opal consumption alongside of disinformation? If it is metaphysical then it brings a whole different dimension to the game.

 		Hello everybody.
Very first ARG experience for me. Hope to be able to keep up with how fast this is moving. Been spending the weekend getting up to speed with what's going on. Have been enjoying NIN for many years but what's thrilling here is the game, I must admitt.
I have tickets for the upcoming show in Stockholm, Sweden in April. It will be really interesting to see what this has evolved into about then.

As a first note:
Don't know why but I got really hooked by this incident at the Star Chamber and the events surrounding it.
The girl in the phonetap says that the guy with the knife was sweating blood. Later, just before whoever it is gets to her in the stock room she screams that she is bleeding too; "there is blood coming out of my skin".
It seems quite possible that the knifeguy infected her with something, and quite possibly everyone else at the venue, leading to the subsequent decision of cleansing the place with a flamethrower.
What happened to the woman coming out, crying orange tears may also be a result of that infection.

May still be a sideffect of being on one of those "bloody mary red pill"-tripps as suggested earlier, but I havent seen any mentionings of infections or contagious diseases yet, so I thaught I'd pop it in.

Hi Morran!

Yes, I'm inclined to agree with you. I think the coppery smell and the orange tears has to do with whatever made people bleed out of their skin.

I seem to recall an episode of House M.D. where a woman took to many of a particular kind of pill that caused her to cry orange tears and sweat orange. But I forget why the pills caused that.
