2 pints for 7 quid is pretty much the norm for down here in the south-east. I was expecting far worse

It was an excellent evening, I stayed to the bitter end and had they not thrown us physically from the building into the driving rain, then my second wind would have kept me dancing for longer. And another gin.
The things I particular noted (or can slightly recollect) Idlemichael and Coxtin's DJing was excellent, Jojojojo found her camera, it takes people a while to dance (but when they do finally start all sense of propriety was lost), some people have really cool trousers (red), Rand0m has a rhinestone waistcoat (apparently plastic), I have to confess that I spilt an entire gin and tonic (including lime wedge) on the blond wig that was doing the rounds, so please make-sure that you wash your hair thoroughly if you wore it after half ten, Mind Candy staff can look smart if they put their minds to it (or their candies), I danced mostly with my arms (normally it's my hips) and ache badly in the shoulders today, Madame Bianca (the futures) were composed by Andrea (I'm not sure how I feel about that yet, in my fantasy she was a gnarled old woman with cheap red nail varnish that smelt of tea and bacon sarnies, a contrast to the reality...it's always hurts to bury a crush doesn't it?).
It does strike me that as well as creating an excellent cult of slightly strange but lovely people, MC have also created a group of fundamentalist kleptomaniacs! Things will have to be tied down next time. Those of you with lecks though...scan please
Some (truly rubbish) pics here, including contents of the goody bag. It seems to me that the Keys that were given out (swipe cards with barcodes and a mini version for your key fob) will make live-events much easier, and a bit like going the library. Of course, we'll all be buying barcode readers for home use now, but hey.

Yeah, I just don't like saying names because I'm usually wrong
And just so people know I only took 2,000 lecks, not 18,000 *coughs*

Nice night, met some very nice people.
I think perhaps MikeyJ's post was meant to have either an attachment or a link to some pics but either way there don't seem to be any of the goody bag around, so see below (I took out the number on the key, just because).
(Arkai posted transcripts here at Perplexorum and I'm not going to repeat someone else's work.)
The Keys: don't get worried about not having them. The idea behind them is that you take part in Perplex Stories (which is sounding kind of interesting) whether you have a Key or not. If you do have a Key, you can link it to your login identity and then have a) a useful thing to register at live events with or b) a neat little PXC card/keyring thingy because it's always nice to have something tangible. It's pretty much promotional (hence being given two) because you can get someone interested and give them a key to make them feel all special like. No idea how anyone will be able to get hold of them in the future* but fear not, it won't stop you playing.
Something that no one's mentioned was a code on one of the posters:

We tried but couldn't make heads or tails of it (and when we hadn't drunk too much). So, knock yourselves out. See the poster here .
Another thing no one here has mentioned was Des' candle. Poor, poor Des.
*ETA: yes I do. Firebox are giving them away with Season 2 orders, see here .
Anyway, on with the attachments:

Oops, quite right...pics are on my blog (the comments should be taken with a pinch of salt as the evening progresses). I'll upload big ones once I have internet access at home again

Man, I wish I could've afforded the trip ton London over the weekend. But it's a good thing I didn't fly over there. I was sick all last week. I'm glad everyone had a good time and I'm looking forward to a new season of puzzle solving.

P.S. If anyone wants to send me party swag, I am always available.

That would be neat, but no. On display next to the Cube was a case full of lecks, the reward money (although, as Rand0m has said, he didn't get any of it!). There's a picture here . Don't you just love flickr? Anywho, the only silver leitmark there was Rand0m's, and very pretty it was too.

Yeah, the prize money in Pounds Sterling hit my bank account in the middle of last week. Very scary it looked too.
And you know what was the first thing my bank did?
Cancelled my overdraft.
Edit: I'm not sure that is really what this was all about, though, is it?

Your bank might've contacted the police because if you were a banker and a massive sum of money coming you'd be scared...
P.S no idea of what an overdraft is but anyway (once again...I'm 12)

Two things I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else:
Before the party started (late!) Dan Hon came round the waiting throng videoing us all - hopefully this will appear somewhere soon.
Secondly a puzzle that was on one of the tables upstairs but I didn't see anywhere else. Probably just a bit of fun but here are the details:
It was on purple paper with the We "heart" Puzzles logo on the top. It read:
Addresses
All applications must be sent to the office on the third floor, there are only twelve offices on the third floor, which are consecutively ordered. The sum of the evenly numbered offices totals 390. Knowing that applications should go to the highest evenly numbered office on the third floor where should you send them?
