Cidouri, Kakuro, Sudoku...

How many of the "Japanese" puzzles actually count towards our Solved Puzzles score? I went through a good number of Cidouri and a few Sudoku yesterday, and I realized that my solved score wasn't going up. Then I tried a couple of cipher and number trivia category puzzles, and they went up easily.

Do you think Mind Candy is only counting puzzles that they personally create, and not puzzles that can be mass produced easily with computer programs? I'm okay with it if that's the case, as it makes it more realistic that a human could get through them all (wouldn't be too hard to have a computer generate a couple thousand Cidouri puzzles in a short amount of time, after all.)

My puzzle count is going up rapidly (I have completed around 150 cidouris now)

Check http://welovepuzzles.com/my/solvedpuzzles/ for a list of your solved puzzles.

Hmmm...that's strange. I've also solved a very large number of cidouri and sudoku puzzles, but not one of them is showing up in my solved puzzle count...

I'm having the same problem, and I already have the latest version of flash.

a little bug I noticed earlier is that the Bacarba puzzles will count your attempt correct as long as you have at least one letter on the board in the correct position and none in the wrong place, thus you only need figure out the location of a single letter, place it, and hit "submit" to be credited with the solve...

I have noticed that the numbers don't go up as soon as you complete a puzzle but if you click on another link such as the profile tab at the top they get updated

Same for Cidouri, I'd recommend against doing that though, spoils the game, inflating your stats, and becomes pointless...

all's well that ends well, though. I had sent a message to mind candy around the same time as my previous post, telling them about the bug, and now it's fixed. no more cheating on those puzzles now. Very Happy

Neither of those works for me with the Japanese puzzles, and my version of Flash is the latest, I think. I can't find anything more recent for download.

Another bug in the system, possibly?

Some of the Kakuros have two solutions (like today's daily puzzle). Has anyone else noticed this?
