It sounds a lot like something classical. Anyone able to identify?

Wow, that sounds awesome and terrifying. If it's not an original song, I'm not sure what it is.

I wonder how the music timing that ilovetofix was speaking about figures in to the timing of these...

Well, it sounds like a waltz to me, that could be of some significance related to music timing.

Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring

I'm not certain but I think the song from the third video may be from or derived from Stravinsky's The Right of Spring. the CD I have of it has it listed under Part 2 and the track is called " Mystic Circles of the Young Girls".

A lot of movie scores commonly lift elements from the piece, the most notable example being the Star War's movie soundtracks by John Williams. So it could really be from any movie soundtrack.

If anyone can confirm this I'd appreciate it. But I think the title of the track seems to fit with the whole muse theme.

minor thought: if all the audio seems to be reversed pieces of classic music [not sure, didn't listen to all the reversed ones], how about the video with the music supposedly from Silent Hill?

EDIT: reversed audio from videos 1 and 2 don't even seem to be reversed...?

1) That music is definitely from Silent Hill. I can point you to the track, if you like.

2) They are both reversed. The opening music (the vox and flute) is in MIDI format, so it won't seem reversed. If you compare it to the video, though, it's quite clearly switched.

there doesnt seem to be much much consistency in the style of music apart from the classical genre. so maybe ilovetofix wants us to look for something else in the music?

also for what its worth, and if it already hasnt been mentioned, i think the faces were made with Poser.

Did anyone else find it strange that he's going to be calling someone on a payphone? As far as I know, most payphones no longer accept incoming calls on them for some silly reason(Probably because you can call collect and tell the person the payphone number in the recording, so the phone company can't make bank on collect calls.) I've tried a few times with various payphones around my area within the past few years for one reason or another. I'm wondering how he's going to accomplish this. Then again, maybe it's just my area, and that means I won't be chosen to get the call. =(

i'm sorry, i was not clear. what i meant:
if it was from Silent Hill going FOWARDS, reversing it would not reveal anything, correct?

secondly, thanks for clearing up in regards to vid # 1 and 2.

I do find the payphone idea a bit puzzling, but I guess we'll see.

Maybe it'll be another dead end like with the book.

Though I would cry because I really want to hear Love's creepy voice.

I'd like to request dibs on uploading it to YouTube, if for no other reason than consistency. I think this is important because of the "fake" videos, and a number of people have "subscribed" to my YouTube account.

Detector7 chosen as the movie receiver. He joined the happy cube boards at about 2 AM last night and his only post is the one volunteering for the movie. Doesn't show up in the memberlist here. I'm guessing that is a plant to advance the story.

I know that he's a member of the SA forums and has been a lurker for awhile. A lot of us ( I too found out about the game on the something awful forums) have been joining over the last few days.
