This is FANTASTIC! What a great sense of humor, I really hope this turns out to be an ARG. I'll definitely be watching!

reading over this thread, i can't help but be reminded of a series of books by Tad Williams, "The Otherland" series.
These was an adventure in one of the books that consisted of the characters riding a boat down a river that originated in an overflowing sink and wound its way across the kitchen floor. everything was "alive" (salad tong sharks, veggie armies, gravy boats, they were guided by a match who was a stereotypical cartoon indian looking for his papoose, but i ramble.)and the ultimate ending place in the world was the freezer, where the characters had to speak with a little frozen stick of butter in the shape of a child.

hahaha I love it. Added them all to my AIM list, so *fingers crossed* I had to drop out of the Wyoming Incident because there's just too much for me to keep up with, so I'm happy for something new

LMAO!! I talked to the Pickles!! I was hoping to suggest that Billy and the carrots blanche themselves for added protection in the freezer, but I was too late...damn!!
Oooh, I just hope the pickles are alright! What if their Jar fell off the shelf and smashed while trying to pass on my message?? I couldn't live with the guilt!
[16:29] AprilFCG: Mr. Jar, I'm so pleased to see you!
[16:30] GrandHighPickle: Who is this?
[16:30] GrandHighPickle: Yeah, who's this?
[16:30] GrandHighPickle: What's yer name?
[16:30] GrandHighPickle: Who're you?
[16:30] AprilFCG: Oh...so sorry...I'm April. I've been following your plight.
[16:30] GrandHighPickle: the plight of grand fridge?
[16:30] GrandHighPickle: yeah, that's what she said
[16:30] GrandHighPickle: i heard her, ya dumbbel
[16:31] GrandHighPickle: well sorreee...
[16:31] AprilFCG: Yes, the Grand Fridge. Have Billy, the Carrot Brothers, and Ms. Wal Nut left for the Big Freeze yet?
[16:31] GrandHighPickle: yes, they're gone
[16:31] GrandHighPickle: they left last night
[16:31] GrandHighPickle: i wanna tell her
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: you shut up, runt
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: sorry
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: they left last night
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: i already said that
[16:32] AprilFCG: Do any of you know when they are to return?
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: any of us?
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: we're one jar
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: duh
[16:32] GrandHighPickle: one jar, we are
[16:32] AprilFCG: Oh...of course, sorry!
[16:33] AprilFCG: So, do you know when they are to return?
[16:33] GrandHighPickle: that's ok
[16:33] GrandHighPickle: no we don't
[16:33] GrandHighPickle: when they're done
[16:33] GrandHighPickle: I suppose
[16:33] GrandHighPickle: i'd think so
[16:34] AprilFCG: I was afraid I'd miss them. I had some advice for them going back into the Freeze.
[16:34] GrandHighPickle: well we might be able to pass on a message
[16:35] GrandHighPickle: if you want
[16:35] GrandHighPickle: of course she does
[16:35] AprilFCG: Oh, thank you so much! I was going to suggest a procedure to help the Carrot Brothers and Billy on their repeated expeditions, but it's too late for that now. However, if they were to bring someone back from the Freeze to the Fridge, in a few days, they might regain enough strenght to talk.
[16:37] AprilFCG: Are you there? Are you alright?

I had a conversation with the pickle jar also, but my conversation was similar to April's, including them randomly leaving mid-conversation.
I dont quite know what there is for us to do yet, but it's fun just the same

still having no luck with them coming online. Is this AOL instant messenger? If so when do they come online usually? I really want to play this game instead of being a lurker.

Did that make anyone else think of Alice in Wonderland? Not anything specific, it just reminded me of it.
But no one's contacted me for a couple days, I'm wondering if supreme sandwich cancellor is maybe totally unimportant and not warranting any further communication.

When I go to the Grand Fridge Daily newspaper thing, my browser crashes. Is it just my computer, or is anyone else getting that as well? I will just be a lurker on this one since I don't use IM programs, but I think this is an absolutely brilliant ARG(?).

Thisisnotagrape. I spoke to Thisisnotagrape. He told me, among other things that the Ketchup King would like to hear from us. His email is now located on the Citizens of Grand Fridge page. Sample of aim convo follows:
[19:52] boomchakachow: Well, jelly is always good too. Maybe Mama milk can become some fine aged cheese
[19:52] ThisIsNotAGrape: I believe we'll all suffocate before that happens
[19:52] ThisIsNotAGrape: she keeps complaining loudly about her Lumps, Her lumps, her yucky milky lumps
[19:53] boomchakachow: She will put the boys on rock-rock!
[19:53] ThisIsNotAGrape: they'll be lining down the block just to watch what she got
[19:53] ThisIsNotAGrape:
[19:53] ThisIsNotAGrape: stop
[19:53] boomchakachow: You started it, I've always been told to play along with those in need.
[19:53] ThisIsNotAGrape: psychology, huh?
[19:53] ThisIsNotAGrape: I don't put much stock in it
[19:53] boomchakachow: Manners.
