Anything that is convenient is allowed and encouraged for ARGs. I'm not sure how necessary something like Xfire or Ventrilo would be (for OOG communication at the moment we have the IRC channel, the wiki, and this forum) but if there are people interested, why not?

Each ARG tends to set its own rules of conduct, so what you see on the Deus City site is pretty much the limit. As per unfiction rules, this forum is strictly out of game.

thanks for the info. im a nub at this so i dont want to go breaking commonly known protocol.

well recently we had to convince an ingame character to come into the "interface" via skype. Everything is allowed but the distinction must be made clear whether it is for OOG or IG purposes.
