Just to point that we -may- be on the right track with phone numbers:

So, he went to visit Wongmo/Leo/Leiphe/AQN and AQN had bailed.

I would guess the pheonix was been drawn by AQN as a logo for his business card and left there by accident. If so, I would usually imagine that the number was his phone number... but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Couple of things here... firstly, notice the little black triangles that are placed here and there? Could they be representitive of periods, or some other separation of the numbers? I tried several things, none worked.

Perhaps an employee number at Metacortechs? Or, like someone else mentioned, a log in or password somewhere?

It seems when we called before, we asked for Arnold or Dr. Kane. Trip called and talked for a bit and got some additional information...

Someone should just call him back... if he was interested in knowing why they were calling... What's the big deal?

definitely in-game. i just called him back and he said he was a doctor of spiritual rebirthing. That would toally coincide with the Phoenix. When asked to spell his name, he gave me the same "i've got another call and hung up."

I called and he answered "Dr. Shauffhausen" or something like that. I asked for Mr. Hoffman (the name we were talking about previously) and he said he's no longer at this residence. I said "Oh, he used to be?" And he said, "yes, I get calls for him now and then." So I said, "well do you know anything about a business card?" And he said, "Business card? No. But are you interested in my seminars?"

Then I died, of course.

So I said, "Oh, what semiars?" He said well, "Well, I have several semiars. Discovering your inner..." [not sure what he said here, or if perhaps he didn't finish the sentence, didn't say dolphin for sure!]"... self help type stuff."

So I said, "Oh, I am interested in that actually. Do you have any more information?" He said, "Well, I'm going to have a web site soon." And I asked for the address and he said it wasn't done yet (or something like that.)

So then I meant to ask how to spell his name, but instead I said, "How do you spell your phone number?" I was so nervous! And he said, laughing a little bit, "My phone number?" And I said, "I mean, how do you spell your name?" And he said, "I have to go, I have another call." And hung up.

i just called back to talk to him some more and got an answering machine message that said he was probably on the other line.
