That behind the scenes stuff is really interesting. And I imagine that one or two of the pictures will get some interesting comments from some people Laughing
Is it wrong of me to giggle at the video?

I guess this is one of the "big changes" MC was talking about. Not sure if I like the live action stuff. At least, not yet. I was more a fan of it as literature (the lost art) than video. Just my opinion.

The video is a bit weird after playing season 1. Seeing a live video of Violet feels almost like seeing a behind the scenes sneak peak (even though I know it isn't).
The live video will take some getting used to, but I think I like it.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit strange watching a video of Violet. I had rather got used to the drawings of everyone. Mind you, to start with in S1 it felt odd having only drawings of everyone rather than photos and videos, so I guess I'll get used to it!

Hehe... it definitely is weird seeing perplex city with real people and buildings instead of pastel/watercolour images of it.

Fun though, definitely fun.

I wonder if this will bump up the reccomended age rating? (though, we've already had plenty of violence, even if it was all text)

They're so incredibly posh!

Please note, American viewers, that very few Brits talk like that...now I'm off for a gypsy riddle in the cazi.

I can understand why some people won't be thrilled about the live-action material. It's breaking a barrier, in a way, but on the other hand, I can appreciate that Mind Candy is trying to do that much more for Season 2. I do hope they won't overuse it, but I also feel I can trust that they won't.

Unfortunately, Violet has gone down in my sexiness scale after having seen this, but if they put Jo Carter to play Scarlett I'll just die. Twisted Evil

Heh, it looks like they took the voice actress for Violet, dyed her hair black and stuck glasses on her. It certainly sounds like the Violet I've always known.

As for everyone else: yay bad acting! The on-the-scene reporter was especially wooden, heheh.

(oh, and don't look at the photos on that retrospective. Please don't. There's an AWFUL one of me on there Sad)

The lady doth protest too much http://tinyurl.com/2a864a

I'm not sure they're that wooden. The word "key" came out naturally as if they use it everyday. Pay attention to the scrolling message across the bottom. There is information about Saunion at Greycastle hospital. His story is given in more detail on the backs of four of the cards (sorry they're at home so I can't stipulate which). It seems that the ARG and the cards won't be entirely separate after all. The backs of the cards look like they'll be used for back-story. Which is literally approproate I guess Smile

That was fun! I never actually wanted to see PXC players in video or pictures, but now that the wall is broken I'll sit back and enjoy. I don't know if they can possibly cast Sente in a way that will capture his larger-than-life persona.

Funny little touches too in there too. *What* was that field reporter wearing?

Ooooo.... now that was something that I did not expect, and the whole "Perplex City Stories" hasn't even begun officially. You rock Mind Candy! Very Happy

At first I was a little apprehensive about the video, since when you read a book and have pictures of what you imagine the characters will look like etc: from the plot, and then a movie comes along and people who are cast to act the different parts are not exactly what you imagined, well I had a little of that, even though this was not entirely the case as with S1 we had piccies of Violet at the same time as audio of her.

But I do think that its going to be a rather exciting adventure, but one thing I would like to tell Mind Candy is..... "I want to be a reporter or a character on one of the upcoming videos" hahaha Razz
