i managed to put the answer into a solve box and the site crashed..

it's getting hammered, the chance of getting a first solve is going to be both random and tiny at the moment

 		Hmm i'm getting 503 errors now Sad - looks like the server has actually gone down Razz

Hah may as well spend a bit of time solving some more..

UPDATE: And now it's just giving me the old firefox "page cannot be displayed"

I got one answer in correct .. then any I managed to get in after that were incorrect (I'm fairly confident that they were the right answers). Crying or Very sad

 		here I am working away to solve puzzle cards and I miss the chance to get some solves in before the site crashes. *sigh*

All well.

You'd think MC would have anticipated the sudden rush of traffic?

of course they anticipate it, just as any site that occasionally gets masses of traffic does, there's not much you can do to increase capacity for what will only be an hour or so at worst though. the other option is just to change it over in the middle of the night but then you can't get support staff on hand easily if something goes wrong.
