Excellent point. I just posted a message saying I don't think we should trust either him or Frankie in another thread, but I entirely missed the importance of that letter. That's probably one of the reasons that the code for another puzzle was written on that instead of something else.

If you want to see my post, it's here.

Okay, I don't know where else to post this, so here goes.

I think that Pat and Dave are actually to be trusted. Here is why: they posted about the Triptych theory before we had encountered anything about triptych nodes. They didn't need to give us this information.

One thing that has been bugging me for quite a while is the text "Know the truth apply the parable" on the Daisy the cow page. Know what truth? Apply what parable?

I think I finally get what this means. They were running an ARG that was kinda sorta like the "real" ARG, but not quite. It was a...parable. A parable where Daisy the cow is Eva, and we did all this work to figure out that Daisy was connected to the Montauk experiment, and appeared to be underground.

They're big into the cryptic and not saying anything in so many words when they think they can be overheard, which is always. So they put together this "game" to try to tell us what was going on.

I think they are our Lone Gunmen.

What do you guys think?

I dreamt about Frankie last night. She was wicked evil. Yeah.

We must be entirely on the same wavelength carmen. I'm getting my threads a bit confused so I apologize if this was actually brought up in another thread. The main argument for approaching Wilson and Frankie is not necessarily that they're are trustworthy but that we are unable to move forward otherwise but this is not necessarily so. We can go to pat and dave. they are the tryptic "experts" after all. Don't get me wrong, I'm still not sure anyone is 100% trustworthy but of the two groups, I'd rather go to pat and dave first.

Likewise, a lot of their helpful messages seem to be much more serious than their normal stuff. Perhaps part of their idiot act is that they are obfuscating themselves.
