Perplex City Academy
Subsidiary Study Course Overviews: 12a Earth Studies
Module Two: Politics
Course Coordinator: Aisleyne Bisley

The saying goes Earth abhors a vacuum, and it is true that every part of Earth that is not sea, icebergs or orbiting satellites is divided into countries.

A country is currently classified as an area of land with defined or undefined borders that may or may not have its own government, flag, laws, stamps, currency, soccer team, prejudices and fashion mistakes.

Earth has not yet managed to resolve its ongoing wars, however it does regularly elect one or two of its countries to be 'superpowers'. How superpowers come to be elected, the length of their terms of office and their exact duties remain unclear and will be subject for further research.

Sample exam question:
Which is the best Earth country?

And no, we don't have to answer the sample exam question. Not in this thread, anyway.

Clue:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Think about what TYPE of thing it is, it doesn't matter what it says. The answer is what this form of writing is called. 8 letter word.

If you have read
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
(or can find a copy), then it would definitely help.

For those of us with bad eyes, it says
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Turn me over, I stay the same. What am I?

This card took me ages, as soon as I saw it I said to myself 'ah, it's an ambigram' but then I stuggled for ages to work out what it actually said, I was kicking myself when I finally read it and it turned out I knew the answer all along!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
