Just to clarify, Eva and Frankie never met. Frankie was called away three minutes before Eva's arrival by a suspicious phone-call. Character-wise, she has only met Pat and Dave, and even then, she doesn't know who they are - they are just observers in this situation, more so than we are, as we've interacted with her through her blog for a while now.

Keir was definitely a good guy trying to help, and he was assassinated for his troubles - I don't know where the ambiguity has come from on that point.

Wilson I see as a double-agent at this point, so trust doesn't come easily - but Eva has always said that he's done nothing but help her out since she was little - I would expect there to be an emotional attatchment there that means we can assume he is working for the greater good, but from within the enemy lines.

Frankie is the only one that we definitely can't put our finger on. She tracked Eva down completely out of the blue and sent her Voiphe and some stuff from her old house - motives unknown - all we know is that she has been investigating subject180287 for a long time, enough to form an entire organisation dedicated to it. She was travelling out here to help her, but we still don't have any clear indication of why she would go through so much trouble for Eva.

Frankie has ulterior motives for helping Eva, of course--she is researching Subject180287, which Eva is obviously connected to somehow. Frankie might just be helping Eva to research Subject180287, but (even if her motives are skewed), she's still doing the right thing, right?

I'd be willing to give Frankie the benefit of the doubt if she had let Eva known her plans. Since she found Eva's birthday card and all of that, I would assume that she'd have picked up the significance of the subject number being Eva's birthdate. I mean, she did send the stuff to Eva specifically for her birthday after all. If we understood the significance of the number, presumably she did, too.
