It looks like my flight is delayed at least an hour. So for those expecting me around midnight... make that 1am. Sad

Good for me!

I worried about being a pest, but this is what I was trained to do. It's hard to shake. P)

It may be a bit too late for this, but how does one find exactly where in the hotel the goodness is going on? Can I just ask for the argfest conference room?

On the second floor of the main building (not the one with the Denny's) just up the stairs from the lobby is their Banquet and Conference area. The room sign says "Unfiction, Inc."

(Vortech's "clue" is from Mel's Diner, where people gathered after C2BK -- no where near the hotel.)

I'd like to make a suggestion (little me), for people to join facebook, and upload photos there, as their 'taggin' system is great, like flickr, but linking directly to their facebook profile if they're registered. it's like photo networking, and you can list any photos you're tagged in.
There's an ARGfest event that photos can be shared into as well... I know it's (ick) "Facebook", but I can actually say they've done a great job with the site, and it's quite respectable and usable Smile. A few of us are in there already.
Panels today! w00t

online photo challenge

Stuck at home? Go out and take some photos of the words brienigma used in

Create a team of up to 4 players
Take the list of bingo objects. Some of them will require creative interpretation. Have fun and use your imagination!

Post your photos to Flicker not later than midnight on Monday March 5th.
Use the Flckr tag ARGFest 2007
There will be a way cool prize.

(Somewhere the list of bingo objects is posted with the bingo cards. I can't find the link and I have to run to the conference room but I will get someone to post it.)

I wish everyone could be here! I miss you guys that aren't here but have fun playing along!

It has the mysterious URL "debug.php" because I used it for internal testing. Smile

I'm not at ARGFest, but I mysteriously acquired the following information (from a Ms. Daisy Fructose). Gupfee has been taken! Can anyone help?? I've attached the files (zipped - mp3 and image).

Email was from daisygangSPLATgmail.com, and just said, "tell your friends to meet my demands."

i got email, mp3,and picture attached...

Mp3 semi-transcribed:
Daisy Fructose;
Gupfee in trouble: Day after her birthday need to meet Daisys Demands.

2 Hours to collect Daisy's ransom. 6 sets of clues. Divide up to 6 teams. Each team gotta collect different peices of ransom.
Dont tell the police, cos in Boston, the police gets their panties all in a bunch!

"i didnt leave gupfee any water or crackers or anything! I'm eating cookies in front of her.... My stomach hurts!"

-- the mp3 (see the zip in above post) does sound a bit distorted, and the stereo also sounds wierd.

Hope you rescue her before all the cookies have gone!

This would have been fun to play but I just found it. And irc is not working for me so I don't know if there are people working on it or not.

We really should save Gupfee, if its not too late.

Happy Birthday Gupfee. So sorry you've been kidnapped

I realized this when The Embarcadero came to a stand-still and a series of small parade floats came down the street. Vpisteve was late arriving for his panel discussion because of it.

IRC won't connect, no matter which server I try.

Just letting everyone know I got home safely. Driving I-101 at 1:am is very easy!
