No, seriously, what I'm saying is that it WAS Erwin, only they colored in his nose! So it's a clue.

EDIT: I think that maybe the reason that we see this picture is either that we know we aren't supposed to trust Wilson, since he definitely knows it isn't Erwin (since he's the one who gave the cat to Eva), or else that he wants us to know that he's in trouble, since he told us earlier that Erwin was with him, and had been since he'd been in Seattle.

If you look in the Photoshop file and dodge around the cat, you can see the ghost of Wilson's hand, too. So it is also possible that we've not actually been talking to Wilson at all, and the bad guys doctored a photo to make it look as though Wilson is alive and well. After all, we didn't really gain much useful info from the Montauk page, did we? Just some background, really, which KenKon probably wouldn't be worried about us knowing if by leaking it to us, it gave credence to Wilson being fine.
