I just doublechecked, did a shift-reload to clear the cache, and I still have the pictures. Now, I will say that they don't seem to be updating the page with new submissions though.

I think it would be a good idea to try to track which photos are sent by us, in case the ubiquitous and enigmatic "they" post photos of their own, or if there is some kind of clue we are supposed to be getting from all of this. For example, there are now two "You have a picture message"s on the site--which may or may not be significant.
I have been struggling for TWO DAYS to get the settings on my phone right so that I can send email from it.
Hmph!
It occurs to me that that's kind of sad....
I agree...I think the one with the Erwinesque cat looks a lot like the place everyone met at on the 18th, but since I've never been there that's hard for me to tell.
Also, a random one popped up of a lab of some sort. What's up wit dat?

More Pics JWIV just uploaded a couple of pics for me, so uplink is still receiving pictures. I'm the girl in the grainy picture caught midsentence. I also sent a picture of my dog and now deceased cat on the sofa together.
Thanks again JWIV!

After seeing theresnoplacelikehome video, it's apparent that Eva still doesn't know what happened to her. Since this uplink page is the only way we know how to contact her, a few of us in chat (including RothkoWoofed, Sylvia, spysect and I) sent Eva these new images to help her understand.

WolfHawk, I'm thinking that we should NOT post those images. In chat, KSG, drizjr, and I were talking about whether sending these would be a good idea or not. KSG asked what the chances were that Eva would know who had abducted her, and we figured the chances were pretty slim, since she doesn't seem to know much.
Putting the images up would alert the Dynamic Duo that we didn't trust them. So basically, do we gain more by having them know we don't trust them, or by having them think we do? drizjr pointed out that the only benefit to having them think we don't trust them would be if this made them fork over more information to make us trust them. To the three of us who were in chat, that didn't seem to be a very likely scenario, and so it seems like we gain more by keeping them in the dark about what how we feel about them.
KSG and drizjr, is there anything you'd care to add? I have a dim recollection that there is some other point I'm forgetting.

Also, may I point out, that Eva is mostly using words from things that we have sent. Which means... expanding her vocabularly is not necessarily a bad idea, eh? Also my picture has been uploaded! Yay! The text I added on was all about appealing to a more innocent and childlike concept of friendship, a little forlorn and foot-shuffley but also playful. And the isolation of my eye in the square... Well, I think it is a good idea because there is a repetition of eye imagery and by isolating an eye it becomes a focal point which allows for a sort of "eye contact" and eye contact is so necessary for real... gee... communication!
