Well with a bit of Post ARGFest info here, it appears that it is possible that some players decided to start a way to recruit people to the Broherhood, via tCoTSa. So it seems our contacts may very well be people, regular players, and not PM characters.

Wait, can you explain that more? You mean...this was done through the efforts of PLAYERS?

I thought I was the first one to stumble across this relationship, and I can assure you that it was not done out of a player-initiated effort to recruit tCotSA players to this game. Everything that I mentioned in the threads (and in the argn article) was information gleaned from confirmed in-game characters in Deus City (Adam Brackin is most definitely a PM not a player) and based on information gleaned from the tCotSA letter.

Perhaps I'm just misunderstanding you.

I think what is meant is that TCOTSA was started by players of Deus City in order to get more people to the Brotherhood.

I guess it is _possible_ but for most of us, tCoSA was unknown in the world of Deus City, until notgordian stumbled upon all of this, so it seems unlikely to me...

Im not sure I understand what you're arguing against there Tauren, but that might because I was unclear so I'll try and explain myself again =P

I mean I guess it's possible that tCoSA was started by players of DC as UnimportantHero said, but that since basically noone here at UF had heard of that game inside the Deus City world, I judged it much unlikely. And also since the name of tCoSA plays a part in Deus City, I see it as an indication of it not being a player started thing.

It could be integrated into DC as a recognition of player involvement, but I honestly think that too much is pointing against it, and that if tCoSA is not run by the same people, atleast the games have had some common planning and lean against eachother.

LOL Wang!!! All i was doing was noting that both of the "sub-foums" are now linked together. And since as far as I know it hasn't been officially announced that the two ARGs are linked, so i was saying maybe the moderators here at unforums know that they definitely are linked. That's all! LOL you're so silly Wang!!! Razz

I really have no clue about the whole theory of players connecting the two, and honestly I kinda don't care who did it- it's just important to me that it is happening. Smile
