The question of the two links is a good one. I don't think we've actually paid enough attention to this chart--we were all so excited when someone solved how to get it, that we only really gave it a superficial look.

Although we can't be 100% sure about anything in this ~~game~~ world, we're fairly sure that Keir is/was a good guy, and that he risked and probably lost his life by giving us a few pieces of information, this chart included.

It indicates that SRI is only connected to subject180287 through Youkin and then KenKon. It suggests that Psivolution is connected to subject180287, but not directly to Kenkon, which would probably indicate, as most people are surmising, that Frankie is interested in the subject, but is probably not working for Kenkon.

Another guess about the lines would be that they are one-way lines of data flow/communication/--that psivolution can contact subject180287 but cannot receive communication from subject180287. Eva can both send and receive, Kenkon can both send and receive.

I took another look at this chart. If Kenkon is really following a keiretsu business structure as the home page says, then it appears that subject180287 is supposed to be the "bank" or the source of (funding?) (project records?). In which case they would definitely want control of it.

If I am understanding the structure correctly (I make no claims to be a business person), then Eva McGill and Kenkon would be the re-investors (of financial data or or project records) hence the dual connections. If the "released" subjects held some or all of the information in implanted chips, that would leave Eva as the only source. Which would explain their insuring she is embedded in the system.

I don't know how helpful this is, but it does give us an understandable reason for the "kidnapping."
