Keir makes several unsuccessful attempts to get the door open, he spots the camera at one point and says something ("please", I think...can anyone lip read?) gesturing towards the door.
The text reads:
Quote:
High security

_______________
Name: Keir Jones

Cognotechnology
Experiment: #1 –Underway.

Week 2 | experimental goals:
Behavior modification.
deadline: Friday 9th March

Note; he is rated High security where Eva is rated Maximum...

Cognotechnology is essentially brain implants. Looks like our back-from-the-dead hero may have more than just the chip on his shoulder...

Behavior modification sounds a little like mind control to me, although it could also just be a demanding NLP course or the title of a self-help book.

I'm wondering if both Keir and Eva were conditioned as well to essentially not know about what Kenkon was doing. Their website is just a front for majorly inhumane non-volunteer work.

Experimental subjects

I think you are right, especially because Eva kept "losing time" and didn't know what was happening. I was speculating on that, too. I actually posted something on this, but somehow I put it in the wrong thread. That's what I get for staying up too late playing. Confused

Anyway, here's what I was thinking.

As you've probably noticed that Keir Jones is now listed as Experiment 1, and Eva is still Experiment 4. The font used for the 4 is different that the 1 used for Keir, which may be to indicate that she's number four of a different set of experiments, but this does bring into question who the other experimentees might have been. Was Keir always Experiment 1? He is the right age, and judging from the info on the Lightweb site that Wilson gave us the link to, it is possible that Keir might have no knowledge of his life as a test subject. Maybe his experiences as a test subject are why he's agoraphobic--which seems to be the case with Eva, too.

The reason I'm even bringing this up is that we don't know what happened to Experiment1 subject. Does he have an RFID chip? And if so, doesn't it need to be deactivated, just as Eva's does?

As for John B and Caroline, perhaps they are only mentioned to get us to the petsounds page. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please, but I don't think they were mentioned elsewhere.

That actually makes sense--if Eva was being controlled to not know about the evils of Kenkon, that would totally explain her response (she couldn't concentrate on what we were saying, etc.) when we sent her the video of her falling on the Subject180287 site way-back-when. Then, we thought it was just an IG way of her not knowing about the site--now it seems it might have been part of Kenkon's plan all along.
