You're probably wondering who I am. I'm Chris Brown of Deus City in the
year 2037. You may have heard there is no way for someone from the future
to communicate via any method other than the Defense-Corp interface. All
lies .. the only limits to communication are the ones they have setup.
Fortunately I have backdoors, programmed into the interface since day one.
Foo was smart not to trust me completely but he didn't realize what I was
capable of until it was too late ... stopping me would mean shutting down
the entire city network, something very unlikely for him to do.

Let me assure you that I am Chris Brown. Though he will try to deny it,
the current leader of Fundi Technologies and I are one in the same.
Secretly he will try to change it ... which is why I'm sending this
e-mail.

The future is not all that it seems. Foo has total control over everything
in Deus City. He knows about everything that goes on he has information on
when people get up, what they do during the day, their preferred brand of
toothpaste. It is he alone that allows the underground movement to exist,
it is he who tolerates the skivers. Trust me, he knows where they are and
how to stop them ... he chooses not to. Skivers, the Underground, the
Church, the Brotherhood, they all serve as the perfect distraction to the
populace.

The factions against Foo are weak, they are too busy bickering amongst
themselves to initiate real change ... if they ever did get together Foo
would squash them instantly. You see, they are missing one fundamental
element. The way to bring down the system is to game it from the inside.
Living off the system is pointless. They have plenty of other ways of
monitoring. For instance, every door in Deus City scans for the subcue
chip ... but they all also contain motion sensors and cameras. Anyone
without a chip going through gets flagged anyway ... our facial
recognition is good enough that every one of these people has a file.
Using spies, medical records, voice recordings from the streets, etc. They
usually have the name of the person, who they associate with, the
identities they steal, etc. So somewhat ironically, the Corps claiming
there are no skivers is true ... the people known as skivers are just
people without chips .. they aren't any less tracked.

Finally we've reached the point. I know that even when the agent interface
goes live you aren't told anything, just given a bunch of backlogged work
and told to go at it! There is a man by the name of Alex Wright Sr. If
there is any hope for the future at all .. this man must die. I can't
explain all of the reasons to you right now, suffice to say that his death
is going to create a chain reaction that should eventually bring down the
corps. There will be peace in Deus City but that peace can only come
through the shedding of blood.
