With bands like The White Stripes, The Flaming Lips, The Decemberists, Spoon, Fountains of Wayne, and Sam Roberts Band playing, I'm almost considering making the 3-day trip down Very Happy lol

I would love to do Bonaroo sometime... but sadly, like Coachella, the attached campgrounds won't let you do *anything*, like cook your own food, or drink alcohol - everything has to be purchased from their vendors :p That's the thing that's been keeping me away from Coachella - and Bonaroo is MUCH further.

Also, I don't think Tool will be making it - they've had to completely reschedule their North American Tour, since Danny blew out a bicep and needed surgery. I had tix to their show in San Diego on the 20th and there's no telling when it will happen now.

You can definitely cook you're own food! In fact, there are so many peeps cooking you can have a variety of really yummy very cheap, if not free, food. The only place you can't bring anything other than premade food and non-alcoholic drinks is into Centeroo (where the concerts are). You can bring ALL the alcohol you want to the campground, so long as it's not in glass containers.

If a band can't make it, AC Entertainment will announce it as soon as they know. At this stage of the planning, bands are still being added. A few big names, emerging bands, locals, and unknowns are added to the lineup the last few weeks before the event.

It truly is a great experience!

Here's the location of one of our previous campsites. All of the main streets and numerous side streets have folks not affiliated with the event selling all kinds of goodies for cheap cheap all hours of the day and night. Or you can just make your own. Cool
