Hey guys, new to the forums - this is Phoenix from Deus City. Only just found this place and let me tell you it is a VERY weird feeling to see people discussing you! I actually spent a minute going, 'Wait . . . am I a character?' I'm not, by the way.

No idea why Ethan's particularly interested in any of us - maybe just trawling for users who he likes the look of? I haven't been particularly active for the past week - maybe he's trying to get people who are hanging back more involved? Draw out the true talent within the users? As far as I know I have no particular connection to any of the other named users.

I also have no idea why my name came up twice - however I do feel all special and stuff now. Very Happy So hi everyone . . . and sorry that I'm not a big important character after all!!!

 		Hey Phoenix, welcome to the forums! Hopefully, the resources on this site will make the game a lot easier and a lot more fun for you.

As for the recruitment drive, I think the PMs are trying to encourage characters to interact as much as possible as well as bringing in more people--hence, the "lists" to look into and the poster missions.

Nice to know I'm not in danger. Also nice that he uses the words 'reliable and trustworthy' . . . I'm all glowy on my insides. Smile

I would like to know a little bit more about this list, though . . . and also why he felt the need to have me in particular checked ou by two different agents . . . maybe I'm just developing an ego. Very Happy

This is interesting. I'm just now noticing this and it's probably something the rest of you have known all along; I had been assuming eldoradowatcher (Ethan) was in the future, but I've received a couple of emails and pms from him. This means he is in our time. I wonder how many other of the "black" agents are in our time. Or is EVERYONE we are dealing with through the interface from our time? If we are all from our time, why is the interface even necessary?

Edit: by chance, I've been speaking to Ethan via the interface (we've become quite pally recently, it's rather nice) and the question of where/when he is came up, leading to this very interesting reply:

I found it interesting because not only does it confirm that Ethan's in our time, and presumably American as he references George Bush, but it also implies that he isn't working alone and that he's waiting for his allies to act. This could make things very interesting . . . also the implication that there's something brewing is a little titbit of tantalising information (titbits like this seem pretty common in Deus City!!).

Also the fact that he's staying in a hotel would indicate that he's trying to keep a low profile. I wonder what it is he's hiding from?

 		For anyone who hasn't seen this thread seems like tCotSA was a part of Deus City, and we're now merging.

I'm not completely sure how I feel about the merge yet, but I'm trying to catch up and familiarize my self with Deus City (notgordian has been a big help Smile )
So, I'm assuming this is the right place to post this just because it is Ethan Sedgewick thread, but is it also for people working for the brotherhood?

Anyway, if anyone has any questions about the tCotSA game feel free to PM me, I'll be happy to help.

 		This was, indeed, the right place to post. Our organization in this forum is a bit haphazard, but mostly we post based on who we're talking with (in this case, Ethan) or which puzzle we're working on (District / Puzzle).

The other IG members of the Brotherhood are Theophilus (future-AdamBrackin) and Chris (NOT cfreak...and he's more loosely affiliated). Bishop/Sawyer are sympathetic to the cause, probably.

I've been in contact with Ethan again. He said he's been very busy working with others. He also says this

 		I asked Ethan about the tCotSA organization and his own involvement with it (as well as noting the posting of the folio on Brackin's blog).
