Kem, I really doubt he would go through that much for just a red herring.

Also, I just noticed this on the human pet blogspot, but the "About Me" message has some oddities, some letters in words are capitalized when they really shouldn't be. If you take them all, you get the word "PHASE ONE".

No idea if it's something big, but I thought it was kind of cool.

I recorded the voicemail and will be uploading it to a website ASAP so it can be listened to without blowing up the line just to hear the message.

I also confessed my sins. The first I left some out, so I recalled and confessed all of them.

I have taken the lords name in vain
I have not remembered the Sabbath and kept it holy
I have not honored my parents
I have murdered in my heart
I have commited adultry in my heart
I have stolen
I have coveted my neighbors house

There is some really weird interference with the file. My Mic's never done this, I'll try to record a cleaner version if I need to.

I called and left a full confession on commiting adultery...happened a few months ago, long story...

But I hung up right after I left the message. Will they still receive it even if I did that?

I'm going to say probably.

Cause, usually even if you hang up right after the beep, it gets recorded.

I hope it records if you hang up after you leave the message cuz if not I gotta call again.
EDIT:
Ok I posted the CM's Phone number all over the finderictaylor forum and told people to confess their sins to the CM to help Eric. I hope I did the right thing. I figure we need all the confessors we can get

Hm, I wasn't sure if we had to leave like a detailed list of our sins or just the general "I have stolen, I have committed adultery."

me neither. i was just like "i dont have a god, i have two, so i broke the first two commandements. also i have an idol, and i did this and i did that." then i got worried that eric might get killed if the CM thought we're werent taking this seriously so the second time i phoned i said "i need to confess that i lied in my previous message".

has anyone tried "pressing pound" for more options?

neil

When you press pound you get the standard "press 1 if you are satisfied with your message, press two to rerecord and 4 to enter passcode".

I didn't press pound after my message yesterday though. I don't think that will matter, but you never know.

Also, I hope he does use our voices, it would be really cool to hear what you guys sound like, lol. Smile

Yeah, I got that little bit because either A) My message ran too long, or B) I said "Thank you", and they thought that meant I was done.

I guess we wait until he makes a video confessing his sins.

Or, maybe, some of us might get a creeeeepy call back. That'd be pretty awesome.

I don't think he will call back..I could be wrong though... I am an old guy. I made the call through a tracfone. I never use it. Unless I break down. I got it in july of last year and it had 520 mins on it now it has 500 and about half of that was trying to find a towtruck. So my question is since I have my phone off most of the time would it list, if the CM called me when my phone was off??... I don't know anything about cellphones.

Is your phone connected to any kind of messaging system? Cause, then I think it would just connect him to that.

I dono if it has a message system. I bought the thing because my car broke down and I had to walk 10 miles in about 103 weather to find a phone. I walked past 3 convience stores that had no payphones and the 3 were Aholes and would'nt let me call a tow truck from their phones. Pay phones are becoming a thing of the past. I don't know how to use it other than dialing a number. I found something about missed calls on it but all 5 of them were from a towtruck company I called. But my phone was on I just had my ringer too low to hear it. Would it log a missed call if it were off??

Yeah Wabonan....if your phone is off or on silent when someone calls you it will either go straight to voicemail or vibrate a bit before the voicemail takes the call. Either way, your phone will tell you if you missed a call.
