Well even if you aren't right, Rogi. We give the winner more than a couple of hours. Hell, we've waited days for EGo.

Time Bandits seriously messed up my childhood.

Here's an interesting little film. Smile

Welcome to the game, CountScotula! We usually wait a little while longer to let a guesser post a new still, unless he/she explicitly says that someone can go in his/her stead. Also, an unofficial rule we have is to try not to post a movie that has already been done. We even set up a handy dandy database (link found in the first post of this thread) for that purpose. I remember putting up a still for Me and You and Everyone We Know a while ago.

aaaaaaanyways, all this blowhardedness is just a way for me to say do give people a little more time to take their turn, and everything else you'll catch on in no time. Yay! happy guessing!

PS I hated Time Bandits. You can shun me now.

Ack - that is really my fault - at least some of the time - I never have a still ready when I accidentally get something right and I ask EGo to bail me out. If I ever get another one right, I guess I will open it to whoever posts a still first? I like playing along here from time to time, so I don't want to give up completely.

My favorite movie that has to do with water : Chinatown

Though I wouldn't call that an interesting little film.

I can't think of anything else to guess - which is something of an accomplishment Katya as I can usually free-associate a number of movies with any given still. Smile

There was that one movie where the water turned out to kill the virus from space, but I don't think that is this one either.

Any movies about firefighters, or gardeners?

I give up.

Not Chinatown, but it is in the same genre.

Clue: The movie helped start the careers of its writers and lead actress.

Not "The Godfather" or "Psycho."

It's not a stylized as the writers' future projects, but their quirkiness is present in small amounts.
