and this just showed up in one of the archived pages by a person calling himself "23" who seems to have a pretty good grasp on the Matrix, I don't agree with everything he says....but interesting how the two worlds are coming together...

Right, this is the first I've seen of anything related to the "Metacortechs Conspiracy" ever popping up on the Matrix website.

It seems to have created quite a stir.

The forum moderators appear to allow random posts that mean absolutely nothing ie... "WHATS UP EVERYONE!!" or the "..." but they won't seem to allow anything that has to do with this.

Nea seems to have changed her heart a little and asked a few questions, but most of the people on the board are oblivious.

Some are asking though.

Just a possibility, but perhaps because it's not an officially sponsored ARG they don't "condone" it, but at the same time there's nothing illegal about it so the best they can do is remove reference to it.

I'm positive that the webmaster of the official Matrix site knows about this game. He reads (and posts in) several Matrix forums, and the Metacortex threads were pretty big there for a while. Also, some mods on those forums seemed convinced that the game wasn't official, so they may have gotten in touch with him or something. He probably told the mods at thematrix.com to keep the game off the official site forums...you know, lest people think there's a connection or something. Since everyone knows that banning a subject will make people compliantly forget all about it. Um...

Also any occurance of the word "meta" is changed to "THE MATRIX HAS YOU", hence the "THE MATRIX HAS YOUDex" comment at the top of that list.

Topic: "reference to arg lol! or maybe god is real, you be the judge" has a lot to do with this than you'll ever imagine, those who haven't gotten the point of the matrix has debunked this as waste of time and/or retarded because they only saw FANS writing, but didnt get the meaning behind it.

when it first came out, many many people i knew had always thought he was on an acid trip..so i just remembered, hey what if he was on a journey exploring with drugs, plus the religious use of drugs such as peyote might've played a part in its molding of all things they love, Anime, Kung Fu/Action flicks/Gnosis & various beliefs, computers, and especially drugs, since chicagoans in the early and mid 90s loved acid since shrooms werent available hardly(believe me i know).
