King Kurt?

It's probably nothing, but has anyone else been wondering why Kurt appears to have an obsession with kings?
Three of the S2 cards designed by him have the title "The XXX King":
#071 - The Cattle King,
#104 - The Pickle King, and
#134 - The Restaurant King

Coincidence, in-joke or meta puzzle? Any thoughts?

yeah, i noticed. i thought it was a fast food inside joke, either that, or we wait for S2W2&W3 for more kings.

I think it's just a running gag.
All the cards have characters in common.

Ba-na-na, as some of our alumni might say. Very Happy

They all live in the same flat, too. The flat of Kings, apparently!

EDIT: Shame that Rob's name isn't, say, Michael. Then we'd have a nice parallel with Caspar, Balthazar and Melchior.

The Words

I'd just like to point out that on every King card, there are certain words that are "accented". (those in brackets are sets of words)

The Cattle King - N/A
The Pickle King - loves carefully every really pick
The Restaurant King - [wanted to] [Bill and] [ace bar] restaurants cabs cheapest evening cheapest corey [bill and rob can pay]

I've tried rearranging the words to form a sentence:
Bill and corey wanted to carefully pick every evening cheapest. Bill and rob can pay restaurants, cabs cheapest - really!

Too long to anagram, no connecting thread, probably nothing.
